BELARUS OFFICE Recommended office hours are 9:00am 6:00pm Monday till Friday (8-hour workday + 1-hour lunch) LIFETIME EVENTS In the case of significant life events such as marriage, birth (adoption) of a child, death of a close relative (mother, father, husband, wife, children, brother, sister) EPAM provides a lump sum payment of $500 (1-3 days) after paid holidays. Mandatory office hours are 10:00am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm 5:00pm Employee s schedule can be changed upon agreement with Resource Manager or Project Manager Probation period is 3 months RENTAL PROGRAM An employee who has worked for the company for at least 1 year can enter an EPAM rental program. They can rent an apartment at F. Skorina St. 43-43A for 1 year, the rent for 1 square meter of the rental apartment for one month is 0.2 of the base value. HOUSING PROGRAM EPAM has a housing program for its employees. An employee can take a loan for 5 years for a purchase of a room, an apartment, land for the construction of a residential building, or the construction of an apartment in a residential building at 7.5% APR (effective interest rate on the loan 9.67%) in USD. The loan does not exceed 50,000 USD, the loan should not exceed 70% of the price of the housing being purchased/constructed. UNPAID LEAVE SOCIAL LEAVE Employees are entitled to unpaid leave for family or other valid reasons on agreement with the resource manager. 1-3 PAID DAYS EXCEPTIONAL LEAVE In the case of birth, marriage, death of close relatives (parents, children, spouse, sibling, grandparents and grandchildren), the affected employee is provided with 1-3 paid days off. 7 SICK DAYS SICK DAYS If health issues occur, EPAM provides 7 paid vacation days in a calendar year which employees can take instead of sick leave. OVERTIMES OVERTIME COMPENSATION Working overtime can be additionally compensated in case it was approved by the manager. PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH Maternity leave is governed by local law and the labor contract. EPAM also provides a one-time payment, the amount of which depends on the length of service Pregnancy leave 126-140 calendar days Compensation for maternity leave equals an average salary + a one-time payment (5 or 7 salaries) Each employee gets a bonus ($500) on birth of a child CHILDCARE LEAVE Maternity leave can be extended beyond 3 years period on agreement of the resource manager Maternity leave payments are calculated in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus
EPAM BENEFITS COMPENSATION TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION An employee is entitled to full or partial reimbursement of education associated with their professional activities. The decision on the amount of compensation is taken directly from the manager and the manager of the Global Education Department.
