Introduction To collect this information VEDA is utilizing a web based portal that allows direct entry by borrowers into our reporting database. PLEASE NOTE, company employment information is NEVER reported on an individual company basis, but is reported in aggregate. Your company s employment information will never be reported by VEDA except in the aggregate with other VEDA Borrowers. Supported Systems The VEDA ARRA Reporting Portal should work on any Windows or Macintosh based system that is equipped with an internet connection and web browser. Internet Explorer 7 and above, Firebox 3 and above, Opera 10, Safari (OSX 10.6), and Google Chrome are all directly supported. Other unsupported browsers should be able to fully access the system with no problem, however for your safety on the internet, as well as our ease of development we ask you consider updating to the latest version of your browser that is available. Accessing the Portal The VEDA Reporting Portal can be accessed at the following address: http://apps.veda.org/employment Please enter this URL into the address bar of your browser of choice, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
Logging into the Portal VEDA has provided you with both your username and password via email. The username is your contact email address, and the password is initially set to a 4 or 5 digit identifier. Please enter your username and password into the boxes present on the login page, and press Login. If the contact information changes, please advise your loan officer. Data Reporting Once you have logged into the portal, you will be greeted with a page summarizing the VEDA reporting process, as well as a list of required data submissions. VEDA expects to collect this information on a quarterly basis, and will make new data period reporting submission forms available at the end of each quarter, and remind each borrower via email that a submission is required. To report on a required reporting period, simply click the word required under the status header
The submission form requests the following information be completed. All fields are required. Field Name Hourly (Non-Exempt) Staff Section Hourly wage, lowest per hour Hourly wage, highest per hour Average hourly wage without benefits Current number of hourly staff (in FTE) Purpose Please report the lowest hourly wage that is provided to an hourly or non-exempt staff, excluding any additional benefits provided to the employee such as healthcare, disability insurance, or workman s compensation payments. Please report the highest hourly wage that is provided to an hourly or non-exempt staff, excluding any additional benefits. Please report the average hourly wage across all hourly or non-exempt staff excluding any additional benefits. Please report the total number (in FTE terms) of all hourly or nonexempt staff. Please see the definition of FTE below. Salary (Exempt) Staff Section Average annual salary of salaried (exempt) employees. Current number of salaried (exempt) staff (in FTE) Please report the average annual salary that is provided to exempt staff, excluding any additional benefits provided to the employee such as healthcare, disability insurance, vacation, or workman s compensation payments. Please report the total number (in FTE terms) of salaried staff. Please see the definition of FTE below. Benefits Section What percentage of employee annual wages and salary does your company pay for employee benefits? Which of the following benefits does your company provide to its employees, in part of in whole? Other benefits Please provide the total cost of additional benefits that are provided to all staff including benefits such as healthcare, disability insurance, vacation, or workmans compensation payments, given as a percentage of total wages and salary. Please select any benefits that your company provides to staff. Please provide a brief summary of any other benefits your organization may provide staff other than those listed. FTE, or full-time equivalents equates hours worked to a normal 40 hour work week. For example, if two employees work half-time (20/hours week) this equals 1.0 full-time equivalent or 1 FTE.
