Professional History June 2010 June 2013 : Tri ICT Belux SA - Managing Director Dany is in charge of the general management of the company accountable to the board of directors as managing director. Tri ICT (25 people) is a ICT service provider delivering consulting, advisory and solutions to the market. Tri ICT is specialized in ICT Operations Excellence and Optimization. Tri ICT address as well the organization, resources and processes as the technology within the ICT department. As Managing Director Dany is also involved in strategic missions for some customers and especially in Solution Selection Tracks for new information systems. CAR PASS non profit organization Advisor Dany is currently responsible for the selection of the new EDI information system and the integrator. He acts as advisor of the Board of Directors to help them to make the best choice of solution, architecture, software and provider. EDUCAM Advisor Dany managed with his team the Selection track. November 2006 - : MÖBIUS Partner ELECTRABEL Trading and Portfolio Management Project leader Dany was in charge of the technical management of a project for the renewal of the management system of the Trading division of Electrabel. This project consisted in the analysis, the design and the follow up of the implementation of the infrastructure. The objective was to provide an effective, safe and fault tolerant system. As a technical manager, Dany was responsible for the development of the architecture and made the budgetary and planning follow up. The mission of MÖBUS was the control for respecting the results, budget and timing. To achieve this, FOST Plus needs the expertise of MÖBIUS to coach the implementation, to manage the change in the organization, to measure the benefit of the new strategy and to assess some technical and business decision. SIBELGA Process KPI for Network Mgt Dpt Project Manager SIBELGA is responsible for the management of the distribution network the area of Brussels. They started a governance initiative for process management. This new approach needs the definition of process indicators able to collect, consolidate and report information concerning the operational performance. FOST PLUS IT Application Audit Project Manager This project goes about the assessment of an existing application from a maintenance point of view. MOBIUS executed an audit of the different aspects of the concerned application in order to take a decision about the future investment in this application. June 2007 November 2009 : MediaXim Group - CEO Dany was in charge of the general management of the company accountable to the board of directors as managing director, member of the board. MediaXim is a service provider for the media sector delivering software solutions and producing data about the advertising expenditure and audience and traffic measurement on the different media channels like television, internet, radio, daily press,. MediaXim is an international company with the headquarter based in Brussels giving work to hundred people (50 in Belgium, 35 in The Netherlands, 8 in UK, 5 in Luxemburg and 3 in France). In his position of CEO Dany was also managing director of all of the subsidiaries of MediaXim Group. March 2006 November 2006: Freelance Consultant TOURING, strategic consultancy Consultancy for the TOP Management about the strategy for the development and the diversification of the activities related to cars and to its technology when thinking about mobility issues. Dany took part in brainstorming sessions and wrote the minutes as well as the further thought that needed to be given to the problem. Dany also took part in high level negotiations with, among others, the federal authorities. CAR PASS non profit organization Project leader Dany was responsible for the implementation of a new information system within this organization (in charge of the struggle against milometer fraud). Together with his leading position, Dany was also in charge of the respect of the planning, the budget and also of the quality check. This project was made up of two parts. On the one hand, a great part of the development had been given to a subcontractor and on the other hand, there was a hosting part. Dany was in charge of the analysis of the various offers (for both parts of the project) and was then responsible of the follow up of the development and of the choice for the hosting. Car Pass also wished a security audit. The choice of the supplier as well the follow up of this audit were left to Dany. FORTIS INSURANCE BELGIUM EDI Project leader The aim of this project was to integrate the tools for the exchange of mail and office organizers of the various entities of Fortis (AG and Fortis Bank). The objective was to further develop the existing applications and to integrate the flows mail exchange and file management of the various departments. The role of the project leader was to ensure that the solution proposed was perfectly in line with the customer needs. September 2001 March 2006: GOCA (vehicle inspection) - COO Chief Operations Officer This function covered all traditional management aspects (financial, HR, internal and external communication, strategy as a member of the board of directors-, operations and day to day). This non profit organization counts 36 employees and oversees the companies responsible for the motor vehicle inspection. The COO is also in charge of the management of all projects (program manager). The Vehicle Inspection Bodies reorganization project started in 2004. The COO of the GOCA was then asked to lead all negotiations and to elaborate various scenarios from a financial as well as from a resources point of view. Dany took part in the negotiations about new products and services, negotiated with the different stakeholders (authorities, federations...) and participated in the financial simulations. May 1999 December 2005: Vedior Holding (The Netherlands) Project Manager - Business Intelligence The aim of this project was to implement scorecards for the follow up of the performance of the temp agencies in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, France and Spain. It was decided to use the Balanced Scorecard as approach. The project consisted of the definition of the scorecards with the setting up of the metrics and of the expected performance levels, the analysis of the solution from an IT point of view and, finally, the implementation with the IT tools (Oracle, Informatica, Business Objects). August 1990 April 1999: Gendarmerie High Officer Deputy CIO Business Intelligence Analysis and development of scorecards for the measurement of the performance of the various police offices. The project consisted of the definition of the scorecards based on the strategy, the choice of the performance indicators and the expected performance levels, the analysis and the design of the IT architecture and the technical analysis of the IT tools (SAS, Cognos, Business Objects). Police reorganization Dany was responsible for the group in charge of the reorganization of the police departments and also responsible for the integration of the various architectures (from the gendarmerie, centralized system based on a Siemens mainframe BSD2 and ADABAS), from the judicial police, departmental systems based on Unix and Oracle servers and the local police, local systems based on HP/UX and Informix). Project POLIS Project Manager This project was about the whole integration of the central and local databases in order to ensure an end- to- end management of the judicial information. The main infrastructure (Siemens mainframe BSD2 and database ADABAS) had to be integrated in the most transparent way as possible to the local systems (Wintel servers, development in Microsoft VB).
