Any item explained under a specific heading and affecting other trades and branches of work shall be construed to apply to all such other trades and branches also. All work shall be installed complete and operational, complying with all applicable local, State, and Federal building codes or regulations. All work shall comply with both State and Local Fire District requirements. All items in this Addendum override and take precedent over originally issued plans and specifications and be part of the base bid. All work completed under this Addendum shall meet best industry standards which apply to the specific trades herein. The following is a list of addendum items. All drawing items are clouded and tagged with a Delta #1. There are a total of _23_ items included in this addendum. General 1. The bids are due Friday, April 17, 2015, at 2pm at 3051 Redding Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95820. 2. All drape sizes are approximate and shall be field verified by the contractor prior to manufacturing. HMR A R C H I T E C T S Hiram Johnson High School 1. Sheet 7 Keynote P4 (Response to RFI) The masking traveler drape shall be attached to an H&H Specialties 300 series track with ceiling hangers. Provide a shim to lower the track below the exposed conduit. The path of the traveler shall be behind the ceiling fixture, smoke detector and exit sign. Provide a 6 high valance in the same fabric as the drape for the length of the track to mask the track. The valance shall be direct hung. P4 occurs in two locations 2. Sheet 7 Keynote P6 Include in the leg hardware a 21-0 long 1-1/2 diameter schedule 40 strongback pipe, battens and beam clamps for attachment of new steel track for legs. In lieu of operating line provide a ½ diameter tow chord. 3. Sheet 7 Keynote P7 (Response to RFI) Provide a ¾ diameter schedule 40 stretch pipe at the bottom of the cyclorama. Attach the bottom pipe of the cyclorama to the bottom pipe of the existing back drop with a 48 trimmer trip chain to allow the cyclorama to fly off of the stage. 4. Sheet 8 Keynote P11 Split drape to accommodate speakers. Luther Burbank High School 1. Sheet 5 Floor Plan The legs should be designated P6 instead of P5. 2. Sheet 6 Keynote P1 (Response to RFI) The main traveler is two drapes 29-6 high by 43-0 wide for a stage width of 84 feet. 3. Sheet 6 Keynote P4 (Response to RFI) Provide H&H Specialties model #466VS-1 variable speed drum style 1 hp motor or equivalent. See also the specifications section 11060 2.03 B. 4. Sheet 7 Keynote P5 Provide four border drapes instead of only three at existing locations. 5. Sheet 7 Keynote P7 (Response to RFI) Drape P7 shall be a masking drape instead of a cyclorama. Provide two 24-0 high by 40-0 wide traveler drapes in black 22 ounce IFR Encore velour with 50% fullness; webbing grommets and S-hooks; 2 side hem and chain pocket bottom. Sheet 5 Floor Plan (Response to RFI) Provide an additional P6 and P7 at the north end of the room to cover the clerestory windows on existing hardware. 2. Sheet 6 Keynote P1 (response to RFI) The main traveler is two drapes 14-6 high by 17-0 wide for a stage width of 32 feet. John F. Kennedy High School 1. Sheet 6 Keynote D1 (Response to RFI) There is no motor demolition or replacement for this project. The listing of the motor in the keynote can be disregarded. 2. Sheet 6 Keynote D2 (Response to RFI) The track and brackets shall be removed for the house drapes. 3. Sheet 6 Keynote P1 (Response to RFI) The main traveler is two drapes 12-0 high by 18-0 wide for a stage width of 34 feet. 4. Sheet 7 Keynote P6 (Response to RFI) Remove the existing track and install a new H&H Specialties Series 100 track. The drape shall travel in one direction and stack at the stage end. Provide an 18 high valance the length of the track to mask the track. 5. Sheet 7 Keynote P7 (Response to RFI) The drape is two 6-2 high by 7-6 wide travelers for a total width of 13-0. Remove the existing track and install a new H&H Specialties Series 100 track. Provide an 18 long valance the length of the track to mask the track. Sacramento High School 1. Sheet 5 Floor Plan Keynote P3 valance should point to the front drape and P4 traveler should point to the back drape. 2. Sheet 6 Keynote P1 (Response to RFI) The main traveler is two drapes 13-6 high by 27-6 wide for a stage width of 53 feet. Repair track per discussion at bid walk. Sheet 7 Keynote P5 (Response to RFI) The drape is a one way drop in lieu of a two way traveler. 5. Sheet 7 Keynote P7 (Response to RFI) Drape P7 shall be a masking drape instead of a cyclorama. Provide two 14-0 high by 23-0 wide traveler drapes in black 22 ounce IFR Encore velour with 50% fullness; webbing grommets and S-hooks; 2 side hem and chain pocket bottom. Re-use existing hangers.
