Advisory for the farmers Crop Phenophase Advisory (Based on weather forecast) Urd/Moong Sowing Land preparation is advised for sowing of moong/urd. Application of - 2 Ton FYM, 2 kg Nitrogen, 4 kg Phosphorus, 2kg Potash and 2 kg sulphur/hact at the time of ploughing. Spring maize Sowing Land preparation is advised for sowing of kharif maize. Application of -2 Ton FYM, / hact at the time of ploughing. Suwan, Deevki, Ganga-, Shaktiman- and Shaktiman-2 varieties are recommended. Bhindi (Okra) Sowing Parvani kranti, Arka abhay, Arka anamika, Barsha Uphar, KS, Okra 4, Punjab 7, Pant Bhindi are recommended varieties for sowing. Sowing at 45x3 cm is advised. Apply 2 quintal compost, 6 kg Nitrogen, 6 kg phosphorus and 6 kg potassium per hectare. Optimum moisture should be maintain at the time of seed sowing. Temperature condition is now congenial for sowing of summer sown Cucurbitaceous Sowing cucurbitaceous vegetables (eg. Pumkin, cucumber, sponge gourd etc). vegetables Farmers are advised to start this work as soon as. Cross 4 and Rajendra shakarkand 35 are recommended varieties for Sweet Potato Planting planting in this region. Maintain planting distance at 3x3 cm. Apply quintal compost before st ploughing and apply 6 kg N, 4 kg Phosphorus and 6 kg potassium per hectare at the time of final ploughing. Sugarcane: Germination Temperature condition is getting normal for planting of sugarcane setts in the fields. Farmers are advised to plant spring season sugarcane. Mustard Maturity Harvesting is advised for early sown matured mustard crop. Spraying of Dimethoate 3 EC@ml/L of water against aphid infestation in late sown mustard crop. Potato - Harvesting of early variety of potato is advised. Stop the irrigation in the potato field before days of harvest and also cut the vegetative leaf for having potato for seed purpose. Garlic Bulb forming Intercultural operation in garlic crop is advised to remove the weeds after that give light irrigation and rest dose of nitrogen. Spraying of Profenofos@ml/L against infestation of thrips in garlic crop. Add sticker@ ml/l of water for better result. Rabi onion - Intercultural operation in early sown onion crop is advised to remove the weeds. Give light and frequent irrigation at an interval of -2 days as per requirement. Spraying of Profenofos@ml/L against infestation of thrips in early sown Onion crop. Add sticker@ ml/l of water for better result. Mango/Litchi orchards: - Before inflorescence in the mango/litchi orchard, a spray of Carbaryl (Sevin) @2. gm or Dimethoate @. ml per litre of water is advised in the orchard.
