No. 958 Dev/dt.08.04.2011 TENDER CALL NOTICE Sealed tender are invited from state based Manufacturers/Companies having valid license for supply of Cement for use in the development works of different Blocks under different schemes of Angul District for the year 2011-12. The Tender document consisting of detail specification set of term & condition of contract & other necessary documents can be seen in the Govt. website www.angul.nic.in in the date of sale of tender paper. 2. The EMD as per table no-4 above must be submitted in shape of NSC/FDR/TDR duly pledged in favor of Project Director DRDA, Angul. 3. Tender paper must be accompanied by Xerox copy of valid VAT clearance in the form 612, valid registration with up to date ITCC & TAN. 4. The sale of tender paper will be from 15.04.2011 to 26.04.2011 during office hours & will be received up to 3.00 P.M. of 28.04.2011 & will be opened at 4.00 P.M. on 28.04.2011 in presence of the tenderer or their authorized agent. Intending tenderer may also down load the Tender Paper from the website www.angul.nic.in during the selling period. 5. The cost of tender paper will be submitted in shape of Demand Draft payable at SBI, Angul drawn in favor of Project Director, DRDA, Angul. Incase of downloading from the website the demand draft of the above amount is to be enclosed in a separate envelope with a captioned Cost of Tender Paper.
6. The quoted rate of cement should be inclusive of all taxes. The manufacturers / Company have to mention the names of the authorized stockiest for each Block as well as the rates at which the Cement will be available at that point. The manufacturer / Company have to be mentioning the Ex-Factory price, transportation cost along with the rate quoted at Block point. 7. Only State based Cement manufacturers / Companies can participate in the Tender process. 8. PPC, PSC brand Cement with required ISI specification will be purchased. 9. No advance payment will be made to the authorized dealer for purchase of Cement. 10. OFFICE OF THE PROJECT DIRECTOR D.R.D.A., ANGUL. DETAILED TENDER CALL NOTICE 1. The state based cement manufacturer/company will be given equal opportunity to participate in the tender process. 2. Name of the Brand/Company should be mentioned in the tender paper clearly along with ISI Registration No. 3. Cement conforming only PPC-IS-1489&PSC-IS-455. 4. The supplier has to furnish the test result from the authorized testing laboratory in respect of all items along with the tender paper. 5. The Collector will go for random testing of the quality of cement supplied by the manufacturer/company from time to time by forming a committee. 6. The rates quoted by the tenderer should be less than the Ex-Factory price and transportation cost up to the Block Point. 7. The rate quoted should be inclusive of all taxes. 8. While submitting the tender the manufacturer/company have to mention the mane of the authorized stockiest/dealer for each block along with the authorized dealership certificate for the particular stockiest/dealer (the authorized stockiest/dealer must be from that block area) as well as the rate of cement available at the block point including transportation cost. 9. No advance payment will be made will be made to the authorized dealer/stockiest. 10. If the stockiest/dealer of the manufacturer/company fails to supply the materials within 15 days of the indent placed by the B.D.O,s the next company will be asked to supply. 12. The companies will be required to execute an agreement with the Project Director DRDA, Angul within three days of finalization of tender for supply of materials in time during the year 2011-12i.e up to 31 st March 2012. 13. D.R.D.A will monitor the price fluctuation of cement in the open market and are liberty to go for fresh tender if market rates fall below the rate fixed. 14. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for participating in tender process shall be Rs.1, 00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh) only. 15. The earnest money will be retained in the case of successful tenderer and will be dealt with as per the terms and conditions of the O. P. W. D. Code and will not carry any interest. The earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers on application. The Seal quotation should be accompanied with the following documents:- (A). Up to date Income Tax Clearance Certificate. (B).Up to date Sales Tax Clearance Certificate/PAN/VAT clearance Certificate. (C). Sales Tax Registration Certificate duly renewed by the authorities. (D).Attested Xerox copies of the Registration Certificate in support of SSI and EPM rate contract as the case may be. (F).
