PQA Contribution for LNG Project 4 LNG ASD compatible Tugs on 2 years lease term at a cost of US$ 25M. FBR levied duty US$ 15M USAID provided LNG Consultants to PQA Training of Pilots for LNG operation at Siport, Madrid SOPs as per best industry practice Successfully handled 17 LNG Carriers with capacity up to 151,000 cubic meters 9
Port Handling - Capacity / Challenges Engro LNG Terminal requires compliance of SIGTTO & PIANC as per Pakistan LNG Policy, 2011 Limited width and draught requires 5-6 hours suspension of other traffic during the passage of LNG carriers to meet the mandatory safety and security requirements Increase of LNGCs during current year, will delay Container & Bulk Carriers PQA major revenue depends on QICT, delay in berthing of container ships could result in revenue loss / litigation 10
