This has created new challenges in developing solutions and technologies for better management of the quantity and quality of earth s precious water resources. WSP USA provides a full range of technical services, including planning, design, program and asset management, construction support and alternative project delivery, to meet these demands. We address the added pressures of adapting to climate change from systems vulnerabilities to rising sea levels, severe coastal storms and inland flooding, to severe drought conditions that threaten drinking water supplies. Inspection services When disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding and earthquakes strike, a rapid response is critical to recovery. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), through the Housing Inspection Services Program, provides emergency grants for survivors whose dwellings have been damaged as a result of a presidentially declared emergency or natural disaster throughout the U.S., its territories and protectorates. WSP USA serves as a prime Housing Inspection Services contractor tasked to deploy qualified inspectors to inspect and collect information on damaged dwellings and personal property. Based on this data, FEMA makes an award determination, often within hours of the completed application. We call on a large network of inspectors that are able to complete inspections within 24 hours of being deployed and are committed to providing quality and timely disaster housing inspections. This enables disaster survivors to receive needed assistance to rebuild for a better tomorrow. Above: During the past 21 years, we have completed over five million housing inspections for FEMA in connection with disasters.

01 02 03 04 01 Completed a 6 MV grid-connected Solar PV feasibility study for L.F. Wade International Airport, St. George s, Bermuda. 02 Designed the water conveyance tunnels for the Croton Water Treatment Plant, constructed in Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx, New York, that provides modern water treatment facilities for the water supply system. 03 Developed a method of pit hydrogeology and slope depressurization at Sierrita Copper Mine that uses a fiberglass rod versus traditional steel or PVC pipe in order to install groundwater pressure monitoring sensors to depths greater than 1,000 feet, which reduces sensor installation time and creates a safer, more reliable system for workers. 04 Conducted the air quality evaluation for the proposed +700-mile high-speed rail system serving Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, the Central Valley, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego.
