THINQ PHARMA CRO LTD ( THINQ ) was incorporated in November 2006 by Mr Shekhar Nadkarni at Thane close to Mumbai with the objective of development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products. Mr. Shekhar Nadkarni who is a promoter and founder of THINQ Pharma-CRO is widely known personality in the CRAMs industry due to his 30+ years of experience. He was one of the pioneers to start off with the CRAMs business in India. Being in business for long time with all major manufacturing companies; he has an easy access to these units for scale up & commercial projects with better terms for costing, quality and timeline. Products API (Active Pharma Ingredients) Products APIs are used to make the finished pharmaceutical formulations which are consumed. Finished formulations are in the various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, semi solid, gels, injectibles etc. Our API business is committed to deliver high quality products to the market. We have a dedicated R&D setup for active ingredients with quality control laboratories enabling us to cater to diverse markets. Currently our products are contract manufactured at various facilities. The manufacturer is chosen for any product depending upon the requirements of the product. We currently have manufacturing facilities with whom we have excellent relations and long term arrangements. The manufacturing facilities chosen comply with regulatory requirements. Advanced Intermediate Products The Advanced Intermediates products are intermediate product which are a few steps away from the final API. We have a range of products that combines business operations in the fields of basic and fine chemicals. We manufacture advance and bulk intermediates on multi ton level under Exclusive and Confidentiality Agreements with our associate Indian manufacturers having cgmp compliance. Natural Products
In addition to chemistry based products we have also forayed into natural products market. Our manufacturing is supported by R& D and clinical studies result in the development of safe & efficacious products. These products would be delivered to the market with consistent quality. Market- Market potential & Competitors Currently we market our products in India, LATAM, SEA and the non- regulatory markets. Technology & Manufacturing : We have our in house R& D team and also a production team comprising 3 Production managers, 2 chemical engineers which enables us to scale up the technology developed in the laboratory to the factory. Theses intermediates are primarily for contrast media APIs. These are iodine based. Currently, these products are imported. Producing within India should save valuable foreign exchange and also ensure un-interrupted supply of good quality of higher intermediates to API and formulation manufacturers.
