General conditions of sale 1-Any subscription of an advertising order will constitute explicit acceptance of the present terms of sale. 2-If an advertiser orders through a media buyer, this one must supply a warrant written by the advertiser. The advertiser can then obtain the 15% trade discount. He remains nevertheless responsible for the payment towards Rive Média even if the media buyer is the financial relay. 3-The publication dates of the magazine are communicated by Rive Média only as a rough guide. Rive Média will secure the advertising space only if the order is confirmed in writing. Rive Média cannot be held responsible for delays, in the distribution of its publications, due to the post office or any transport. 4- Any cancellation of advertisement has to reach Rive Média in writing, 6 weeks before the publication date. If the deadline for sending the technical files to Rive média is overdue, the advertisement previously published will be reused. If this is not possible, the mention «advertising space reserved for» (followed by the name and address of the advertiser) is printed in the reserved space and the advertisement is charged following the conditions of the order. 5-Rive Média and the publisher are free to refuse the advertisement without having to justify their refusal, according to the tradition in use in the press trade. 6-The advertiser and his authorized agent let free Rive Média and the publisher of any civil liabilities that could occur because of the advertisements they publish on order. They will indemnify them for all the damages they would suffer, and will guarantee them against any legal action of third parties. 7-All our prices are VAT exclusive. Technical files must be supplied. Any added work will be charged in technical costs. 8-The advertiser is sole responsible for the quality of films or computer files he sends to Rive Média. The pages of the same four-color sheet are printed following the amalgamated process. The sheets are printed in the best possible way, without guarantee of an absolute matching in colour reproduction. In case of technical problems due to films which don t match the GEU range, Rive Média cannot be held responsible. 9-Rive média takes no responsibility about films and documents which would not have been taken back by the advertiser or his agent within three months after their last use. 10-Payments must be made in 30 days the month s end after publication date at the latest, except in case of a special agreement. Any delay in payment will involve the suspension of the advertisements planned. Penalties representing of the double of the legal interest rate will be charged. The procedure expenses will be charged to the advertiser. 11-Any complaint must be made in the week following publication. In case of dispute, the commercial court of Paris is competent.
