Sr. Area Name / identity Aerial distance (within 10 km) from Existing location boundary Water Resources : Mostly Surface water bodies (Seasonal) & ground water is the major source of water in this region. Water table is 20 m to 30 m during pre monsoon and post monsoon period respectively. Ultimate working level is above the water table hence will not intersect. 11 Areas already subjected to pollution or environmental damage. (those where Existing legal environmental standards are exceeded) 12 Areas susceptible to natural hazard which could cause the project to present environmental problems (earthquakes, subsidence, landslides, erosion, flooding or extreme or adverse climatic conditions) Yes Agricultural Resources : Major occupation is agriculture in this region. ne The water level in river may fluctuate depending on the rainfall intensity. According to BMTPC Vulnerability Atlas (earthquake), the study area falls in a Zone-III. There is no incidence of landslide but in 2001 a major incidence of earth quake was there. There is no date available flooding of the area.
