ID: WOR-0123 II. AGVS Application A. Introduction The vision that drives the AGVS Applications is a logistic robotic solution for Warehouse Automation. Robots operating in a supervised autonomy mode assist human staff in their daily order fulfilment. Use AGVS robots to transport a shelf with items from the storage point inside your warehouse to the work station where workers are packing and completing the order. The robot brings the inventory and the operator completes the entire order without moving. B. E-Commerce Order Fulfilment For internet retailers order fulfilment by fast and efficient picking, packing and shipment, and customer satisfaction is the top priority. Optimising e-commerce order fulfilment with the help of modern automation technology is essential for internet businesses to keep up with consumer demands and to have the competitive advantage on the global market. Warehouse Automation can provide solutions for several challenges: High number of items stored in large warehouses Shipment speed and seasonal peaks Small order sizes with labour intensive packaging Accurate order fulfilment, delivering the correct item identified in the e-commerce system and the merchandise management system by the article number C. Competitive Advantage AGVS application is to make picking a competitive advantage: Increase order picking productivity Reduce order completion times Secure order fulfilment accuracy S6 AGVS Drive-Under Tractor: 4 / 8

D. Warehouse Management System A warehouse management system is used to control the overall flow of materials through the warehouse. A WMS is designed to track inventory as it is processed into, stored, moved around and transferred out of a facility, while providing a systematic way to conduct distribution processes. III. Engineering projects A. Product development This is the first logistics robot open in ROS. Our engineers are able to install any additional sensor. This may include: Other Laser Range Finders or additional laser range finders RGBD sensors (e.g. ceiling looking) IMUs (Xsens, Arduimu, etc.) 3D laser range finders Floor looking cameras B. Solution development S6 is usually sold with a complete engineering project associated with the customer facilities. There is a number of things to consider in the engineering project starting with the navigation and localization strategy, fleet management (in case there will be more than one AGVs unit), HMI, infrastructure to detect presence of trolleys, RFID tags, communication with elevators and automated doors, location of the automatic chargers, etc. Special solution development by our network and technology partners is possible for: Airport Cargo Automation solutions o Current references: Frankfurt Hahn o Previous work experience: DHL ULD warehouse airport, Leipzig Swissport Cargo Services Belgium Swissport Kenya Airside Ltd. Fraport, ALS GmbH Thai Airways Emirates/DNATA Swiss, Cargologic Fraport AG, LogIT GmbH Northwest Airlines, New York British Airways, London Lufthansa German Airlines, New York Continental Airlines, Los Angeles S6 AGVS Drive-Under Tractor: 5 / 8

Nippon Cargo Airlines, New York Hospital Automation solutions o Intra-hospital transport, Spain IV. S6 (WOR-0016) A. Introduction The S6 is a modular build premium robot based on an automated guided vehicle design study of highly professional robot developers selected by WORLD OF ROBOTS for product development. It is the first logistic robot that is open in ROS. The Robot Operating System (ROS) is a set of software libraries and tools that help you build robot applications. From drivers to state-of-the-art algorithms, and with powerful developer tools, ROS has what you need for your next robotics project. And it's all open-source. As an automated guided vehicle it serves in logistics assisting and increasing the efficiency of human staff. As human staff can stay at the work station to work, the automated guided vehicle does the transportation tasks between the work stations, helping the staff to avoid time consuming ways back and forth. B. Vehicle Characteristics Robot data Weight/Load Limit (kg) Engine power (W) Speed limit (km/h) Turn speed (degrees/s) View range (m) Signal range (m) 250 kg / 750 kg 500 W nominal 4.5 km/h 125 degrees/s 50 m When choosing one robot over another, consider characteristics that best suit your application. Weight/Load limit (kg): The Weight is the total weight of the robot including all internals. The load limit is the maximum vehicle weight including payload. The weight determines the vehicle s manoeuvrability. Light robots are usually more agile in comparison to medium or heavy robots. Engine power (W): Determines the vehicle s acceleration capacity. Speed limit (km/h): Determines the vehicle s top speed. Turn speed (degrees/sec): Determines the speed of the vehicle s rotation. S6 AGVS Drive-Under Tractor: 6 / 8

View range (m): Determines the view range of the sensors. Signal range (m): Determines the signal range between vehicles or to the vehicle. C. Product Information Publishing date (date of last technical specification): 2014-11-27 Length: 1.70 m Width: 652 mm Height: 345 mm Weight: 250 kg Shipping weight: 300 kg Manufacturer: MANU SYSTEMS Brand: WORLD OF ROBOTS Article number: WOR-0016 D. Technical Description S6 is an autonomous electric robot with motor wheel traction and controlled direction and traction. The robot has a low height, adequate to pass under trolleys and roller container. The robot has a lifting mechanism (about 50 mm range) that is used when it enters under the trolleys. The chassis, manufactured of steel and aluminum contains the batteries, the motors and the transmission as well as an electrical axis able to lift up to 500 kg payload. In both sides, it mounts range finders to detect persons. The robot is equipped with a mechanical brake system that actuates in case a person enters in the safety zone. This laser sensor can adjust its range depending on the payload and speed conditions. The ROS computer reads the Lasers and is able to generate maps and localize according to the laser data input. The kinematic configuration allows following curves in an optimal way. The robot always moves describing a circle with radius determined by the direction axis. When this angle is zero the robot follows a straight line. S6 AGVS Drive-Under Tractor: 7 / 8

E. Technical Specifications 1. Mechanical Payload: 500 kg Traction Motor: 500 W nominal Direction Motor: 80 W nominal Enclosure class: IP67 Batteries: LiFePO4 24 VDC Operation: 8 hours normal operation Temperature range: -10-50 Max. Slope: 3 2. Robot Control PC based architecture: PC -CPU (VIAC7 Nano) 1 GHz Controller: Embedded PC with Linux, Open architecture ROS Communication: Ethernet/WiFi SCADA monitoring 3. Fleet Control and Monitoring 4. Navigation and localization The robot uses a magnetic sensor (antenna) to find magnetic landmarks on the floor. Those magnets provide information about possible deviations of the robot position, and are used to update the robot odometry estimation. The robot mounts also 2 rangefinders and is able to process this information for conventional SLAM algorithms. S6 AGVS Drive-Under Tractor: 8 / 8
