With over five years in development and testing, the POD SERIES efficiently treats all three contaminants, BOD/TSS/TN. ECOPOD fixed film series is a continuation of Delta Environmental Products tradition of combining simplicity and technological excellence to create innovation. ECOPOD-C and ECOPOD-D series are advanced, fixed-film wastewater treatment devices from 1,500 to 100,000 GPD. Tested under NSF Standard 40 and exceeds (Class 1) requirements for effluent quality. ECOPOD significantly reduces BOD, TSS and nutrients in the wastewater. Nitrification and denitrification occur in a single tank. ECOPOD series is an intratank bioreactor that can be inserted into on-site wastewater treatment tank or vault (round or rectangular). ECOPOD series uses a fixed film process which is characteristically robust, reliable and sturdy. Fixed film is a preferred treatment process in many areas for on-site wastewater treatment systems. With limited property available, Delta designed a system that included spray disposal. Packaged Wastewater Treatment Plant Series Case Study: A retail shopping center in Galliano, Louisiana is one of the busiest in the country. Their existing wastewater plant was inadequate to handle the store s wastewater. Delta s ability to engineer and fully customize the wastewater treatment plant incorporating many unique features allowed the customer to meet the stringent requirements of their discharge permit. Case Study: The East Harrison County High School project was one of three central high schools built on the Mississippi gulf coast after Hurricane Katrina. These schools had to be FEMA rated 361 since they were to be used in future emergency situations.
