Their most important task is to promote the development of economy, the safety of business traffic and integrity of market conduct. The chamber is a public body, its functioning is based on the principle of self-government, and the membership of companies and entrepreneurs in the chamber is voluntary. The current number of members is 1100 undertakings. Radioactive waters Thermal waters and their effects in Heves County These contain sulphur in the form of hydrogen sulphide, carbonyl-sulphide (COS), rarely sodium-sulphide, calcium-sulphide. Even as a bath they are suitable to complement the sulphur deficiency of human body. Sulphuric bath has energetic effects, it has great significance mainly in case of rheumatic and some cutaneous diseases (Eger, Szent József fountain) Chalybeate waters In case of chalybeate bath iron soaks in the body through the skin, but in case of anaemia caused by iron deficiency we should use drinking cure for better results (Clarissa and István fountains in Parád).
