EMPOWERING SOLAR EFFICIENCY COATED GLASS SPARC COATING SOLAR PLUS ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATING (SPARC) SPARC is an anti-reflective coating especially developped for solar applications, and more particularly for photovoltaic applications. SPARC is a single-side coating deposited on extra clear patterned glasses Solite and Solatex during the tempering process. Being single-sided, SPARC minimizes the reflection at the glass/air interface without affecting the excellent adhesion between the glass and the interlayer used in laminating photovoltaic modules. Being deposited online with the tempering process, it also ensures an optimal durability and an excellent aesthetics. 4% 100% PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Type Applications 1.6% Clear Float Solite Solite Plus Without coating AR coating Crystalline silicon Transmission (%) 95 Anti-reflective coating (single side) Available as Solite Plus and Solatex Plus Cover glass for photovoltaic modules (crystalline or CIGS) Cover glass for thermal collectors Transmission curve Measured on 3.2mm glass samples 91 87 83 79 75 0 500 1000 1500 Wavelength (nm) 2000 2500 AGC Solar has a long history as a key player in the solar glass business.
