Investment 2020 Trainee Programme Investment 2020 is an organisation that partner with firms within the Investment Management industry with the aim of creating 2,020 roles across the industry by the year 2020. Aberdeen Asset Management has been an employee partner with them since they launched in 2013. Our Investment 2020 trainee programme is designed to provide talented, bright and motivated school or college leavers with a 12 month paid work placement. During the programme our trainee s will have the opportunity to develop new skills, undergo training and gain work experience to help them secure a permanent role after the scheme; either with Aberdeen Asset Management or elsewhere within the industry. Our programme runs across many divisions within the company including Distribution, Operations & Technology and Risk. This covers a wide range of departments so we can offer suitable roles for different skill sets and interests. Digital Marketing Trainee Distribution, Edinburgh Support the digital projects team with the website transformation project. Provide support across the entire range of digital marketing activities. Provide support on campaign initiatives. Reporting, coordination of content, admin and content management. Current Vacancies continued Trainee Fund Accountant Investment 2020 Trainee Operations & Technology, Edinburgh Carry out review of daily prices sent in from suppliers. Making sure that the funds are moving in line with expectation, and if not, checking prices against back-up supplied. Any unexplained movements should then be queried with our suppliers. Support the Pricing Oversight Team Leader in overseeing the relationship with suppliers - providing input where necessary to review their performance in delivering reporting throughout the prior month - by attending monthly Service Review Meetings. Take part in weekly calls discussing any ongoing pricing queries. Perform month end tasks, as requested by the Pricing Oversight Team Leader, such as: communicating with fund managers to ensure that fund prices have moved in line with their expectations and sending out monthly reconciliations to both internal and external recipients. Billing Team Investment 2020 Trainee Finance, Aberdeen Deliver accurate billing to clients, ensuring that all invoices are appropriately reviewed and signed-off in line with policy. Produce intercompany invoices in line with the Group s transfer pricing policy and practices. Check payments received from customers are the same as the amounts billed. Ensure that any money overpaid by customers is immediately returned to them, so as to adhere to rules concerning the protection of client money. Trainee Talent Programme Administrator Global Services, Aberdeen Supporting early career inductions: preparing and amending slides, booking trainers, rooms and facilities. Assist with the rotational movement of graduates/ apprentices around the business according to their individual development plans, including booking accommodation/ travel if required, liaising with internal customers. Communicating with external vendors to book qualifications and training sessions.
