His Ph.D. work has won the Best Doctoral Thesis Award presented by The Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP). He has been served as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Applied Science and Engineering (Tamkang Journal of Science and Engineering) from 2007 to 2011.
