Facestock A crystal clear, gloss overlaminating polyester film with print treated surface for enhanced ink adhesion. Basis weight: 32 g/m² ISO 536 Caliper: 0,023 mm ISO 534 Adhesive S8020 is a permanent adhesive with excellent wetout characteristics, and excellent clarity. It sticks well to a range of surfaces including metals and high and medium surface energy plastics. Ideal for indoor applications, it also offers good UV and weatherability when needed. S8020 shows higher stability against yellowing at high temperatures than other adhesives. Type: Emulsion acrylate Coat weight: 20 g/sqm Initial Tack: 300 N/m FTM 9 glass Peel Adhesion: 380 N/m FTM 2 steel 24 hrs. Min. application temperature: +5 C Min. service temperature: -40 C Max. service temperature: +150 C Liner BG42 white is a wood-free, super-calendered siliconised glassine paper. It is extremely tough and tear-resistant despite its thinness. Without back imprint. Basis weight: 65 g/m² ISO 536 Calliper: 0,058 mm ISO 534 Transparency: 48 % DIN 53147 Tensile Strength: 105 N/15mm MD This liner is not recommended for fanfolding. Total construction caliper 0,101 mm Typical Values Typical values, not for specification use: see Appendix 1. Applications and use This product is designed for overlamination of polyester and vinyl label materials in order to protect the print from abrasion or chemical exposure. It can also improve the durability of other filmic and paper label materials. This glass clear product is ideal to change the label appearance to a high gloss finish or to make a label material or printed areas thermal transfer printable. Thanks to the high temperature stability of the adhesive and film this material is used in high temperature environments. Printing and conversion Overlaminating PET 25 can be printed with conventional printing techniques. Variable information can be applied using thermal transfer, see appendix 1 for ribbon recommendations. For best scratch resin ribbons are recommended. Overlamination can be an aid to matrix stripping and automatic label dispensing of the base label material. However, due to the low calliper of this film, we do not recommend automatic dispensing by itself. For bright metallic or dark background colors a filmicliner version of this product is recommended instead. UL and CSA recognition This product meets the requirements as stated in UL 969 and CSA C22.2 No. 0.15 for indoor use. The UL file number is MH27538. For specific information on approved conditions, see appendix 2. RoHS / Regulation 2002/95/EU The substances listed in article 4 lid 1 of 2002/95/EU (RoHS) are not intentionally used in this product. The concentration limits of these substances will not exceed the set maximum concentration limits as provided in the proposed amendment for 2002/95/EU. Shelf life Two years when stored at 22 C and 50 %rh.

The conditions of acceptance are: Affixed to polyester label material, maximum temperature +125 C, minimum temperature -40 C Suitable where exposed indoors to high humidity or occasional exposure to water Affixed to vinyl label material, maximum temperature +60 C, minimum temperature -40 C Suitable where exposed indoors to high humidity or occasional exposure to water The UL certification includes the printing with one or more of the following thermal transfer ribbons: Armor AXR7+, AXR8, AXR600, DNP R510, TR6070, TR6075, Iimak SP-330, ITW B324, Ricoh B120Ec and B110CX. CSA Canadian Standards Association UL has tested this product according to the requirements described in CSA C22.2 No. 0.15. This product is C-UL recognized for indoor use.
