Every Wednesday May 17 th Sept. 27 th from 9:00am-2:00pm Located at The Shoppes at Lake Ave. (4271 Lake Ave.), Blasdell, NY 14219 The quality & variety of products offered has made The Hamburg Farmers Market thrive and one of the most highdemand markets in the region. Vendor respect for each other & the organizers of the market, along with outstanding customer service is what separates our markets from others. To that end, Vendors & non-profit organizations that participate in the market do so at the will of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. REQUIREMENTS: All vendors and non-profit organizations [herein known as vendors] are subject to the Rules & Regulations of the Market as set forth by Market Management and the codes of the Village and Town of Hamburg; the Practices, Health, Agricultural, and Farmers Market licensing of County of Erie & State of New York Health, Agricultural, and Farmers Market licensing rules. This includes all applicable forms and licenses for your types of goods. IT IS VENDOR RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN ALL APPLICABLE PERMITS, CERTIFICATES, AND LICENSES REQUIRED BY THESE INSTITUTIONS. Farmers Market Nutrition Program and other Federal/State Program information is also available at the Department of Agriculture. I. PARTICPATION FEES The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to limit the Market Membership to preserve quality, balance of good selection, and integrity. 1. All participating vendors must become a member of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce's Farmers Market for the season, which runs from May 17, 2017 September 27, 2017. 2a. Membership: 1. The Membership Fee for (1) Market is an annual one-time fee of $65 unless HCC Annual Member then the $65 market membership is waived for market participation. 2. The Membership Fee for participating in BOTH Hamburg & Blasdell Markets is an annual onetime fee of $100. Save $35. 2c. Stall Fees: This is a Pre-Pay market ALL Spaces are $15/Stall/week. The spaces are large enough to park a pick-up truck or box and set-up in front of that vehicle to sell. 2b. truck STALL FEES ARE DUE THE 2nd WEDNESDAY of the MONTH for the prior month s stalls or you will not be allowed to set-up until you pay or may be terminated from participation. DUE DATES: March 3, 2017: April 12, 2017: May 10, 2017: June 14, 2017: July 12, 2017: August 9, 2017: Completed Application, Rules & Regulations Sign Off sheet, and deposit of applicable membership fee due. You will be notified whether you are accepted into the market and if not accepted, a refund for amount(s) paid will be issued to you. You will be notified of market participation acceptance after March 1, 2017. Your applicable Membership Fee is your deposit for participation. Any applications without that payment will not be considered. Applications are due by March 3, 2017. 2. ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION THAT IS NECESSARY [OUTLINED HEREIN] FOR MARKET PARTICIPATION PARTICPATION MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE APRIL 30, 2017. Including: Applicable and CURRENT Liability Insurance; Town, County and State required licenses/permits/certificates for participating in the market. Each vendor is responsible for meeting all health and licensing requirements. All licenses must be up to date in order to participate in the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce Farmers' Market. Any "20- C Exempt Home Processor Supplemental Inspection Reports must be from the current year, 2017 to be valid for market participation. Page 1. 2 II. ACCEPTANCE & COMPLIANCE

Page3 3. SAMPLING is subject to the regulations of New York State and your product(s). For example, any sampling of meat products or serving of food requires a three-bay hand washing station by NYS Dept of Health. 4. According to the Rules of The Department of Weights & Measures, NO KITCHEN SCALES are to be used for measuring. It is not a legal measuring device to be used in commercial settings and YOU WILL BE FINED. 5. Vendors participating in State or Federal programs are responsible for knowledge of all rules and regulations and compliance of the same. Any vendor cited for infractions of either Federal or State program guidelines will be permanently dismissed from the Market. III. Operations : We are open to sell goods at 9:00am and close at 2pm. No late set-up, No early tear-down unless you have permission by market manager to do so. 1. ALL VENDORS MUST BE AT MARKET and ready to sell BY 9:00AM. You are assigned stall numbers and will be directed otherwise when you arrive for set-up. Vendors are not allowed to set-up late. If you are late without any communication to market manager your space may be filled and you may be asked to leave the market if it continues. To keep the integrity of the market and safety, THERE WILL BE NO TEAR-DOWN BEFORE 2:00PM. Any suspensions include the forfeit of all applicable payments. If you KNOW you are going to be late, or you have an emergency, it is imperative that you call or text Jamie via CELL phone to let them know of your situation or while at the market, notify the Market Manager or Market Co-Manager of your circumstance. (We will not receive messages left at the office and cannot accommodate your needs if you fail to communicate with us. The BLASDELL MARKET IS OPEN RAIN OR SHINE EVERY SATURDAY OF THE SEASON and you are expected to honor your commitment no matter the weather. The market will pause or close if a severe storm with thunder and lightning. 2. ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO CLEAN THEIR STALL AND LEAVE IT AS YOU FOUND IT BEFORE YOUR SET-UP THAT MORNING. VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BROOM PLUS A BOX FOR GARBAGE. Vendors are solely responsible for cleaning of their space before leaving the Market. Please clean up after yourselves, bags, gloves, anything you bring in take out with you. 3. The Market will provide space only. tables, tents or display stands are the responsibility of the vendors and may not take up more space than the staff you have paid for. SIGNS, DISPLAYS, or ADVERTISING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE COMMON AREA, but you may place feather banners and any tall vertical signs in or behind your tent. However, are encouraged in or on your tent to help advertise your products. 4. Vendors must remain in their stalls to sell their products. Hawking or other verbal solicitations are not permitted. This means no calling out to customers in the common area that you "have a special", etc. Please be respectful of your individual space and do not infringe or encroach upon your neighbor s stall. Clearly marked parameters will be defined to help you determine where your space ends and your neighbor s space begins. 5. Any vendor wishing to register a complaint against another vendor must do so in writing to the Attention of Jamie Decker, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 848, Hamburg, 14075. If it is determined that an investigation or requires a farm inspection, a $50 deposit will be required. 9. Occasionally situations may arise that require us to rearrange vendors that day. Please WORK WITH the Market Management to accommodate, make a fair and integral marketplace.

Page4 10. Any vendor who is not particular about their space can list themselves as a "floater" who is willing to be placed where the Market Manager deems necessary to fill in gaps. Floaters are held to the same standards in the Rules & Regulations, on the application, and with fees as a regularly scheduled vendor or non-profit entity participating in the market. 11. No smoking by vendors /staff in the stalls orin the commercial area during Market selling hours. Smoking can be done outside of the market perimeter away from your and other s stands. 12. Bathroom facilities are available at Save-A-Lot in the parking lot. Please be considerate of their merchants hospitality and do not abuse the facilities or the relationships. V. Product Pricing & Labeling 1. ALL VENDORS/PRODUCERS MUST HAVE SIGNAGE IDENTIFYING THEIR FARM OR COMPANY. Vendors/producers are encouraged to make their displays as attractive as possible and to make available high quality products. 2. Pricing is to be determined solely by each Vendor. ALL PRICES MUST BE VISIBLY MARKED ON ALL MERCHANDISE. Every vendor must properly label each product that is for sale in a legible, visible manner. The label must contain the price (e.g. $6), the item the quantity (doz., pint, 6-inch pot, etc,). If you sell large plants, shrubs or other items you are allowed to make one price label per product and line the products up behind the appropriate pricing labels. If your display does not work well that way, please make smaller labels and tag each item. 3. NO DUMPING. Extreme price-cutting/under-cutting will not be tolerated. These actions will result in permanent current season Market expulsion. Dumping or offering low quality produce for sale will result in Market expulsion. WHAT YOU DO NEXT 1.
