2 3 efficient and flexible The TPS line is the most advanced and flexible solution for the insulating glass. It differs from the conventional manufacturing systems by the direct application of the thermoplastic spacer onto the glass plate. Separate processes for bending, sawing, connecting, filling and butylcoating of spacer frames are eliminated. The logistics will be minimized and internal organization simplified: No storekeeping of different types and sizes of profiles No pedantical handling of desiccant material No interruption in the insulating glass due to missing or wrong spacer frames TPS I.G. includes: Rectangles and shapes incl. free shapes 4-sided stepped I.G. units Double and triple I.G. units Big sizes up to 6 m length Different spacer widths With or without gas A continuous, order specific process safe and comfortable TPS Thermo Plastic Spacer is the premium insulating glass of the warm edge generation. The thermoplastic spacer consists of a 1-component-polyisobutylen with included desiccant material. Due to its structure without metal insert and the unique, homogeneous, all around seal TPS reaches best results in heat insulation. The ift Rosenheim and other well known test institutes confirmed these excellent characteristics: Warm edge with up to 57 % improved insulation Even temperature distribution over the entire glass surface Reduced condensation Greatly reduced stress tensions on the glass Effective vapor barrier and optimal sealing barrier against gas loss TPS is well proven with several million I.G. units installed and is suitable for residential buildings as well as for commercial buildings. Especially for structural glazing, fire-resisting and noise-protecting glass as well as at the glazing of vehicles and trains its versatility stands out.
