Page 10, sec 2.4 Exterior Backfill of the soils report outlines fill which can be used outside the building. Specifications Section 033000-14, Section 3.9 D 2.a Finish surfaces to the following tolerances. The surface variation for all interior slabs For F(f) 35 And F(L) 25 is approximately 3/16 gap under a 10 straight edge for the overall. For F(f) 24 and F(L) 17 is approximately 1/4 gap under a 10 straight edge for the local area. Drawings 1. Sheet C1.1 Changes, Fence and Gates, Floor finish, smoothness, and Joints: Change 40 Rolling Gate to 2-20 Heavy Duty Cantilever Gates at the two west entrances and small storage yard (3 locations). These will be manual gates and the 2 west gates may be motorized in the future. The 40 motorized gate at the South entrance shall be 2 20 Heavy Duty Cantilever Gates with a Master and Second operator (Two operators). The operators shall be Linear HSLG or equal. The installation shall be UL 325 compliant. A goose neck stand and keypad capable of all day hold open and exit loop shall be included. 10 visor transmitters shall be supplied with the opener. Necessary conduit, wiring and control wiring shall be included between the gate operators. The storage area is the 150 X 150 area in the NE corner. It includes 300 of fence including the 40 gate opening and 2-20 cantilever gates. The fuel storage area will not be fenced, but will have 6 bollards on the tank perimeter.
There are 4 inlets as shown in the shop area and a single floor inlet shall be installed in the wash bay in lieu of the trench drain. The trench drain will be removed from the wash bay and a single inlet will be installed in the center of the bay. The floor finish in the garage area and the cold storage building shall be a troweled finish. All interior slabs, excluding the office area, shall have Type C control joints cut on a 25 by 25 grid, left 1/8 wide, cleaned, and sealed with semirigid joint filler will be used for interior slabs as called for in section 033000 3.12. The joint filler shall be 1 in lieu of full fill. 2. Sheet C1.3 Detail for PCC Pavement, Joint Sealant: Stabilization Fabric shall be Mirafi 500X or equal. Low Modulus Silicone Sealant shall be used for exterior slabs. Semirigid joint filler will be used for interior slabs as called for in section 033000 3.12. The joint filler shall be 1 in lieu of full fill. 2. Sheet C1.4 Chain Link Security Fence Detail: The fence shall have a top rail. 3. Sheet S1.1, Stoop Note, Rigid Insulation, Stair Column Details and Sealant Note: A 4 X 4 stoop shall be added at each walk door. The foundation shall be constructed as shown in the Grade Beam Details Cold Storage Building. The top slab shall be constructed with the same reinforcement as the exterior pavement with the rebar lowered to 2 from the bottom of the slab. The stoop shall have 1 expansion joint where it meets the pavement exterior pavement. The top slab or stoop slab resting on the foundation walls shall be and an 8 concrete slab with #4 rebar 18 o.c. each way with 2 clear cover from the bottom form. Add details for stair support columns. Rigid insulation shall be Owens Corning Foamular Extruded Polystyrene 250 XPS Type V or equal. END OF ADDENDUM NO. 2
