In addition, the system includes plant-wide information management functions, which contain the management of recipies and dosing parameters. The BIMS provides a userfriendly web browser based analysis and reporting user interface for production information, alarm and event monitoring and quality analysis, preventive maintenance support and production effiency monitoring. The collected data can be saved for the entire life cycle of the plant and further, it can be edited and flexibly transferred to other information systems. The reporting is not dependent on the operating system. The system is delivered with comprehensive instructions and user documentation. The system can be connected to data sources, such as PLC devices, SCADA servers, relational databases, and file based data, by using TCP/IP, OPC and other standard technologies. Collected data is logged into the database via an ODBC/ JDBC interface. Open and standard technologies provide scalability and easy integration.
