Material Handling Comparison AGMA has negotiated discounted material handling rates in an effort to provide Gear Expo 2017 exhibitors with cost-effective material handling options. Budgeting for material handling can often times be a confusing and cumbersome task, so in attempt to assist each exhibitor with this process, below are outlined the material handling options and cost comparisons. Please make sure to read through everything and should you have any questions, contact Alanna Kis of Freeman at phone +1.313.393.0250 or email Alanna.Kis@freemanco.com. Questions to Ask: How will you be shipping your materials? To both the warehouse and show-site or to just one of these locations? Will you be shipping machinery? Are you able to consolidate your shipments? SHIPPING OPTIONS If you are shipping to show-site only, AGMA has negotiated discounted Unlimited Material Handling rates as outlined below. Please note: These rates do not apply to shipments sent to the Advanced Warehouse. Unlimited Material Handling (show-site only) Booth Size: Up to 999 sq. ft. $7.75/sq.ft. plus tax Booth size: 1000 sq. ft. and above $7.25/sq.ft. plus tax OR Standard 100 lbs (cwt) Rate (200 lbs minimum) Warehouse shipment of crated or skidded freight Show-site shipment of crated or skidded freight $89.50/cwt plus tax $79.50/cwt plus tax Example: A 400 sq. ft. booth is shipping 4000 lbs of freight. Option 1 Sent to the Advanced Warehouse: 4000 lbs charged @ $89.50/cwt = $3,580 plus tax Option 2 Sent to Show-Site: 4000 lbs charged @ $79.50/cwt = $3,180 plus tax Option 3 Unlimited Material Handling: (Show-Site Only) 4000 lbs for a 400 sq. ft. booth charged @ $7.75/sq.ft = $3,100 plus tax

Both material handling options above include the following services: Unloading of materials at showsite and delivery to exhibitor s booth per the assigned Targeted Freight move-in date and time. One-time spotting of equipment, provided exhibitor is on-site when equipment is unloaded. This excludes the use of cranes. Please note: Any re-spotting of equipment is an additional expense charged directly to the exhibitor. Removal, storage and return of empties at the close of the show. MACHINERY If you are shipping machinery to the show, please be sure to have it noted on the Bill of Lading your trucking company will be presenting to the freight team at either the warehouse or showsite. When Machinery is noted in the overall weight, it will be itemized out and charged the Gear Expo 2017 Machinery Rate (set on a sliding scale based on the weight) ROUND TRIP RATES 0-10,000 lbs...$ 29.40 / cwt 10,001-20,000 lbs...$ 27.00 / cwt 20,001-30,000 lbs...$ 24.75 / cwt 30,001-40,000 lbs...$ 22.40 / cwt 40,001-50,000 lbs...$ 20.05 / cwt 50,001-60,000 lbs...$ 17.75 / cwt 60,001 lbs and over...$ 16.55 / cwt Example: Option 1 (without Machinery indicated) sent to Show-Site: 10,500 lbs (of which 10,000 lbs is machinery) charged @ $89.50/cwt = Total = $9,397.50 Option 2 (with Machinery indicated) sent to Show-Site: 10,500 lbs: 10,000 lbs charged @ $29.40/cwt = $3,087 500 lbs charged @ $89.50/cwt = $447.50 Total = $3,532.50 SAVINGS: $5,865

SPECIAL HANDLING DEFINITIONS For frequently asked questions and material handling estimator tools, go to www.myfreemanonline.com Special handling applies to shipments that are loaded by cubic space and/or packed in such a manner as to require additional labor/handling, such as ground unloading, constricted space unloading, designated piece unloading, carpet/pad only shipments or stacked shipments. Also included are shipment integrity, alternate delivery locations, mixed shipments, and shipments without individual bills of lading. Shipments loaded in this manner require additional time, labor, or equipment, to unload, sort and deliver. What is Ground Loading/Unloading? Vehicles that are not dock height, preventing the use of loading docks, such as U-hauls, fl at bed trailers, double drop trailers, company vehicles with trailers that are not dock level, etc. What is Constricted Space Loading/Unloading? Trailer loaded high and tight shipments that are not easily accessible. Freight is loaded to full capacity of trailer top to bottom, side to side. One example of this is freight that is loaded down one side of a trailer that must be bypassed to reach targeted freight. What is Designated Piece Loading/Unloading? Drivers that require the loading crew to bring multiple pieces of the freight to the rear of the trailer to select the next piece, having to remove freight from the trailer then reload to fi t or the trailer must be loaded in a sequence to ensure all items fi t. What are Stacked Shipments? Shipments loaded in such a manner requiring multiple items to be removed to ground level for delivery to booth. Stacked or cubed out shipments, loose items placed on top of crates and/or pallets constitute special handling. What is Shipment Integrity? Shipment integrity involves shipments on a carrier that are intermingled, or delivered in such a manner that additional labor is needed to sort through and separate the various shipments on a truck for delivery to our customers. What is Alternate Delivery Location? Alternative delivery location refers to shipments that are delivered by a carrier that requires us to deliver some shipments to different levels in the same building, or to other buildings in the same facility. What are Mixed Shipments? Mixed shipments are defi ned as shipments of mixed crated and uncrated goods, where the percentage of uncrated is minimal and does not warrant the full uncrated rate for the shipment, but does require special handling. Freeman defi nes special handling for mixed loads as having less than 50% of the volume as uncrated. What does it mean if I have No Documentation? Shipments arrive from a small package carrier (including, among others, Federal Express and UPS) without an individual Bill of Lading, requiring additional time, labor and equipment to process. What about carpet only shipments? Shipments that consist of carpet and/or carpet padding only require special handling because of additional labor and equipment to unload. What is the difference between Crated and Uncrated Shipments? Crated shipments are those that are packed in any type of shipping container that can be unloaded at the dock with no additional handling required. Such containers include crates, fi ber cases, cartons, and properly packed skids. An uncrated shipment is material that is shipped loose or pad-wrapped, and/or unskidded without proper lifting bars and hooks. special handling definitions
