In order to meet the demands of civil engineers, architects and civil projects, and in order to minimize the costs, and in order to offer high quality of stones to customers, the Company carries out its activities through the following departments: DESIGN PRODUCTION COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION QUALITY ASSURANCE

Design Department The following tasks are carried out by the Design Department: Analysis of incoming drawings. To improve and lightening the plans submitted by customer by economic approach and adjustment of construction costs. Innovation; providing consultation with respect to mixture of appropriate stones to fit the intended space. Design of stone facades, interior and decorations Innovation and design of plans combining stone, glass and wood Drawing construction blue prints, preparation of reasonable installation procedures with engineering approach in steel and concrete structures. Landscaping designs construction of accessories and stone furniture. Construction and Installation Department Department of Construction and Installation was established for the purpose of satisfying the customers and Design Depart needs. This division carries out its activities with regarding construction and installation under direct supervision of the Quality Control Management Division. Installation division which employs civil engineers and architects, with engineering economy approach follows all installation phases and makes sure that all connections, steel structures, and etc are carried out properly. This department is also responsible for coordinating orders with design department to avoid construction of voluminous parcels and minimizing mistakes in preliminary designs and in overall to have a complete and defect free finished product. The installation department in cooperation with the design group makes it possible to use lighting and light effects in consultation with electric experts during the project which issue of light effect is one of the key issues in architecture and gives life to many empty spaces in the plan and serves as supplementary in various sections of the design.

To explore standards, needs, and sensitivity of export markets such as the markets in U.S.A., Australia, England, etc. Long term experience of managers of this company in dealing with such markets has made it possible for the Mahsab Stone Company to be actively present tin the export market of Iran. QCManagement & Quality Control Department The following tasks are carried out by the Management & Quality Control Department: - Management and control of primary materials - Sales procedures - Methods of carrying out projects - Methods of selecting and ordering primary materials for projects - Planning and control of production process - Supervision over production with quality control approach - Comparing designs with data provided by the design department - Supervision over consumable materials such as resin, cutting tools, etc - Supervision over shipping procedures of products with respect to how they are sorted. - Supervision over cutting quality of products - Supervision over shipment method of products - Follow up of customers affairs with the intention to gain maximum customer satisfaction. In light of being certified by the Iran National Standardization Institute, and in light of receiving ISO 9001 2008 quality certificate, Persia Atieh Ideh Company audits the Mahsab Stone Company on regular basis with respect to quality control to make sure that Mahsab Stone Company complies with the updated respective standards. Department PRODUCTION Production at the Mahsab Stone Company takes place on basis of two methods: - Mass production - Make to order

Ability to manufacture 120,000 m2 per year Marble and Travertine tiles by state of the art Italian machinery and equipment is one of the outstanding features of the Mahsab Stone Company that makes this company favorite supplier of stone for giant projects. The Company is proud to be able to produce different types of products on mass production basis by employing diversified types of processes.

Product Diversity Sensitivity and taste of today s construction industry makes the selection of stone harder for engineers, architects and potential purchasers. In this regard, the Mahsab Stone Company has increased diversity of its products by supplying various types of color Travertine and Marble stones with different standards, technical features and life span from various mines. In addition, the Company has made stone specialists available at the point of sale to provide instant consultation to potential customers with regard to features of the stones.

Different Surfaces Aptitude and possession of skills in using tools, equipment and machinery has made it possible for the Mahsab Stone Company to use available techniques and processes to strictly control the structure of the finished products (natural stone). The Company s products make it possible for the architects and designers to create unique and ever lasting artistic works by mingling their talents and products.

Shine Brushed This is a type of stone which is commonly known as leather or antique stone with uneven surface with ability to reflex light. Change in processes and combination of processing techniques of natural stones with due regard to their texture, and potential applications of them, has culminated in the following processes: Honed Brushed This is another type of leather or antique stone with uneven surface without ability to reflex light. This is neutral against light effects. Light Sand Brush This is a kind of process that makes the finished product to have light coarse surface and matte finished. Hard sand Blasted This is another kind of process that makes the finished product to have medium coarse surface and matte finished. Bush Hammer This is a kind of process that makes the finished product to have high coarse surface which is ideal for outside use. Honed This is a kind of process that makes the finished product to have extremely smooth and matte surface. This type of stones allows architects to use neutral natural stones against light effects. Polished This is a kind of process that makes the finished product to have extremely smooth surface that reflect the light and images. The Mahsab Stone Company is extremely sensitive about how these types of stones are polished to make sure that they reflect highest degree of light and images.

Different surfaces are achieved as the result of applying the forementioned techniques. For example, when Bush Hammer technique is applied to a stone, the final product will have coarse surface which makes it ideal for use in outside spaces. But due to the fact that inherent color of the stone does not become visible, we apply combination of Bush Hammer and Brush techniques to the stone to make it possible for the stone to reflect light. Similarly, applications of Sand Blast and Brush techniques make it possible to have smoother surface in comparison to Bush Hammer & Brush.

Special Orders Mahsab Stone Make to order Production

Make To Order With due regard to the needs of engineers and developers, the Mahsab Stone Company started accepting special orders as well next to its mass production program. In this process, the production takes place o basis of submitted data and drawings. This process makes it possible to install the stones in the most effective and logical manner in accordance with engineering standards.

State of the art machinery, equipment, and presence of experts at the Design Department are regarded as inseparable part of production. Role of engineers in this process is extremely noticeable. 1- First, the Design Department analysis the incoming plans, if it is needed to modify them, the modifications will take place with consent of employer. Subsequently, the plan will be forwarded to the Production Department. 2- The second phase deals with selection of appropriate raw materials for carrying out the project. This task will be carried out with extra care and sensitivity in least amount of time. In light of diversity of manufactured products, all manufactured parts (products) are labeled to show their identity. Thereafter, each manufactured product can be traced through special code assigned to it. 3- In this phase, with due regard to executive drawings, the items mentioned above are separated and forwarded to executive work shops at the factory. (Production regiment at the Mahsab Stone Company is based on Work Station process). A- Cutting stone in precise dimensions for the purpose of tools operation (Profiling) In case the cut stones need to be treated with tools / or need linear removal of load, with due regard to production equipment, major part of tool works are carried out by modern machinery, which with due regard to capabilities of the forementioned machinery, and continual supervision of Design Department, and Quality Control Department, quality of exiting product will be consistent with executive plans that for sure in the installation phase, precision and harmonious actions of tools, we will have much more successful exiting products. B- In most cases, after creation of linear tools/ or cutting raw bullion, it is required to remove special load, creation of curve, or non organized trigonometry cross sections, also carving for creation of special designs which depending on the need, other processes will be applied.

Sand Blasted In this technique, by using cutter plate and sand blast techniques, it is possible to emboss / or make the plan negative up to 5 mm without negative angle. Applying this technique requires high precision. If needed, it is possible to achieve special, fine, Islamic and regional designs on stones in short period of time by applying this method. Engraving CNC Where talent and sensitivity of designer and architect require using modern techniques, with due regard to capabilities of the Design Department, it will be possible to use CNC machine in accordance with principles of G Code to engrave on stones up to 20 cm depthwith possibility of negative angle with precision of 0.1 mm which in large dimensions, harmony and error degree of very low will be achieved.

Hand Made Production Traditional stone cutting by expert cutters, by relying on engineering drawings, in combination with modern techniques and experimental knowledge, will result in non cost benefit unique, beautiful and fine exit product.

In many instances, combination of the forementioned techniques culminates in precise, beautiful, and unique plans which are great event in exiting products.
