Limited, a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by Government of India and Government of Gujarat is entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project. MEGA invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment of key senior / middle level management positions. The following posts / appointments will be only on Contract with min.3 years to 5 years, on standard terms & conditions of the Organization. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Sr. No.1: General Manager (Civil) No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 20 years of Post Qualification experience in large infra project execution environment, out of which 7 years in construction of Viaducts, Bridges, Multi-Stored Buildings, Workshop Sheds etc. Candidates having working in Metro Rail Viaduct construction with experience of supervising Segment Casting Yard work, erection of Launching Girder for segment launching, pile foundation works etc, will be preferred. Responsible for supervision and monitoring of Construction works as per DPR. Candidate must be familiar with management of contracts relating to the large infrastructure projects. Quality Control & Assurance System in civil construction, Safety Implementation, Programme Monitoring, IS / International Codes for construction of civil underground structures is desirable. Sr. No.2: (Civil) No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience in large infra project execution environment, out of which 5 years in construction of Viaducts, Bridges, Multi-Stored Buildings, Workshop Sheds etc. Candidates having working in Metro Rail Viaduct construction with experience of supervising Segment Casting Yard work, erection of Launching Girder for segment launching, pile foundation works etc, will be preferred. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of experience in all matters relating to Construction Planning, Construction Progress, Checking / Reviewing Metro Rail alignment, Station locations, land requirement for construction, review of tender technical specifications, interact with systems division dealing with AFC, S&T, OCC, Electrical System. Candidate worked in Railway or Metro Rail Government Department shall be preferred. Sr. No.4: (Traction Power) No. of posts 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical)/ (Electrical & Electronics) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of post qualification experience in planning, design, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of traction power works including receiving sub-stations, traction sub-station, auxiliary sub-station and power distribution works in construction projects of railways / metros/ other PSUs/ Page 2 of 6

private sector dealing with electric traction system. Also he/she should be conversant with international competitive bidding process, computerized environment working and latest technologies in electric traction system etc. for underground/ elevated metro/rail projects in urban & suburban environment including consultancy works related to urban rail projects. Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems with 750V DC third rail traction will be given preference. Sr. No.5: (Underground-E&M) No. of post - 1 (One) Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of post qualification experience in Tunnel ventilation, Environment control system and E&M works of Underground Metro Rail Projects. Shall be responsible for Co-ordination, supervision and interfacing with GEC (General engineer consultant) and DDC. Shall also be responsible for preparation of tender documents & technical specifications, tender evaluation, review of design, site supervision, installations, testing & commissioning of LT panels, DG Sets, laying of LT cables, cable trays, Tunnel ventilation System (TVS), Environment Control System (ECS), BMS, Access control system, LV Distribution, Electrification of Building, Earth Mat, Earth pits etc., for Underground Stations. Interfacing with other departments and review of tender documents, GFC drawings etc. submitted by DDC. Sr. No.6: (Rolling Stock) No. of post 1. Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of post qualification experience in planning, design, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of modern electric rolling stock in construction projects of railways / metros/ other PSUs/ private sector dealing with Rolling Stock Systems. Also he/she should be conversant with international competitive bidding process, computerized environment working and latest rolling stock technologies etc. for underground/ elevated metro/rail projects in urban & suburban environment including consultancy works related to urban rail projects. Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems will be given preference. Sr. No.7: Manager Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) No. of post 1. Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Electronics /Communications /Computer Science / Electrical) engineering graduate having minimum 7 years post qualification experience in installation / testing / commissioning / operations of Automatic Fare Collection Systems in any Metro Rail/ LRT / Suburban Rail/ Road transport etc. is essential. Candidates with Metro Rail Project experience will be preferred. Page 3 of 6

Sr.No.8: Manager (Design & Planning) No. of post - 1 Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 7 years of experience in all matters relating to Construction Planning, Construction Progress, Checking / Reviewing Metro Rail alignment, Station locations, land requirement for construction, review of tender technical specifications, interact with systems division dealing with AFC, S&T, OCC, Electrical System. Candidate worked in Railway or Metro Rail Government Department shall be preferred. Sr.No.9: Manager (Safety) No. of post - 1 Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate along with Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized University / Institute having minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in all matters relating to safety policies and program. Collects, analyses and maintains data essential for effective safety, Health and environmental programs. Should have knowledge of relevant ISO standards for construction Safety Health and Environment. Evaluates hazardous conditions and recommends engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment. Review all Safety documents on time to time basis. Provide guidance to construction safety team at site. Ensure all Safety protocols, Safety plan & permits are followed during dismantling & transportation at site. Conduct Safety audits & ensure its outcome is implemented prior to further progress of work. Review & approve Job Safety analysis documents prepared by contractors. To assist the contractor safety Engineer for Weekly, Fortnightly safety report. Conducting safety review meetings with Client and Contractors. Develop, update, organize and, if required, execute trainings and education concepts for site personnel and contractor's personnel with regard to Safety during construction. Coordinate with General Engineering Consultant (GEC) in effective discharge of safety, health and environmental (SHE) compliances at worksites. Candidates having relevant experience on a Metro Rail will be preferred. Sr.No.10: Manager -Information Technology (IT) No. of post - 1 Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Computer Engineering (CE) / Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) ) engineering graduate having minimum 7 years of post qualification experience in IT & Network Administration related to Software, Hardware, Security Services implementation, Virtualization in VMware, Website Management in CMS, SAP ERP, Troubleshooting incidents etc. Candidate should have knowledge in Microsoft Technologies including Server Operating Systems, VLANs, MS Exchange server administration, Firewall, LAN / WAN connectivity, EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) etc. Certification like MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, ITILv3 will be added advantage. Preference may be given to the professionals having experience of working with Govt. Departments / PSUs / Boards. GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. ON CONTRACT Exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates can consider for higher position & compensation package. Page 4 of 6

The compensation package would increase every year by 5 to 10 % based on performance review at the end of each year. Eligible Officials / Staff working in MEGA Co. may also apply through proper channel. If selection panel finds any candidate suitable/fit for a lower post which is advertised in this advertisement, then he/she shall be selected on the lower post (irrespective of the actual post/vacancy to which candidate has applied) subject to the willingness of the candidate. The number of posts indicated above may vary based on further assessment of requirement. Further, the selected candidates will be extended medical coverage and personal accident insurance coverage apart from other entitlements as per governing policies of the MEGA Co. Ltd. 2. CONTRACT APPOINTMENT 1. The Contract Appointment will be initially for 3 years to 5 years on extendable basis. 2. The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 30 days (up-to Manager Cadre) or 90 days (Sr. Manager & Above Cadre) notice or by paying the contractual remuneration in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant. 3. CONDITIONS 1. Candidates who have appeared for interviews conducted by MEGA for the above said posts on an earlier occasion need not send their applications again unless there is a change in the eligibility criteria. 2. Prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirements and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. 3. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right for interview / selection. 4. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification. 4. SELECTION 1. Nonsubmission of documents along with the Resume, will lead to rejection of candidature at any stage during the process of recruitment. 2.
