Launching a scheme is easier than you think Government approved The review by HMRC in 2016 on salary sacrifice has provided clarity and certainty for Car Benefit Schemes. Like Cycle to Work and Childcare Vouchers, they ve now been endorsed by the Government so there s never been a better time to set up a scheme. Effortless administration We like simple. Our scheme couldn t be easier to integrate and manage using an automated online system. It requires minimal administration. We also provide dedicated marketing support to maximise employee awareness and take-up. There s even less admin for the drivers - with a few boxes to tick online and a couple of forms to sign, there s not much else they need to do to order their new car. HMRC and all things tax Our salary sacrifice team will work with you to make sure the process is as simple as possible ensuring that you have all the necessary information to send to HMRC, to give you the peace of mind that your scheme is fully compliant. Did you know? The agreement must be in place before any salary is exchanged and in advance of the first reduction Employees cannot sacrifice their salary below National Living Wage Employees must be permanent or on a fixed-term contract for the term of the sacrifice agreement HMRC recognises the scheme as a Company Car Scheme. Employees need to pay Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax (often called Company Car Tax ) as the vehicle is being provided as a benefit and is available for personal use. Our early termination protection package protects you against an employee resigning, being made redundant or certain other circumstances that would cause you to end a finance agreement with us early. Early termination protection will also protect employees in the following circumstances (with no excess period): The main driver s driving licence being withdrawn for medical reasons by the issuing Authority The death of the employee The employee, or their spouse or common-law partner, suffering terminal illness, disablement or mental illness The main driver losing their sight Maternity/paternity protection or adoption leave, so the gross salary sacrifice amount is paid from the date this leave starts until the date the employee returns to work.
