Welcome to Scandinavia s largest port 365/24/7 The Port of Gothenburg is open to vessels and cargo transport every single day of the year, 24 hours every day. The Port of Gothenburg is Scandinavia s only port with direct routes the world over. Every day we see vessels arrive with goods from all over the world, and vessels leaving our quays with Swedish products on their way to major markets. For almost 400 years we have been the hub for Sweden s international trade and served as the natural gateway to the world for Swedish imports and exports. Today we offer our customers the entire world, every single day. Fast, secure and cost-effective. As Scandinavia s largest port, the Port of Gothenburg has the capacity and volumes to both receive and attract the largest container vessels. The port is favourably located on Sweden s west coast, just 90 minutes from open sea to berth. Almost all Swedish exports are transported by sea. Almost 30 per cent of exported goods pass via the quays at the Port of Gothenburg, which also handles more than half of the country s total container trade. This makes us Scandinavia s foremost cargo hub today. 2 3
