Case study GENERAL ELECTRIC - Description The skills acquired in the packaging industry and the experience gained with the thermo shrinkable packaging have enabled us to become over the years one of the world's leading suppliers of the giant in the field of 'energy, the GENERAL ELECTRIC. Argol Villanova has extensive experience in logistics management in the energy sector, with particular attention to equipments suppliers for the extraction of oil and gas, as well as to manufacturers of power plants (moving of transformers, insulators and wiring) 5
General Electric Case study SALCEF - Description The Project was about the shipment of a complete railway line For this project, consisted in the delivery of over 50 special equipped wagons and 6 locomotives for the construction and maintenance of railway lines provided to destination, Argol Villanova took care of the entire process: from the arrival of wagons to the wharf to delivery to the Egyptian railways at destination. Special lifting hooks have been designed and constructed for weights of the special train that reached lengths up to 45 meters and weights of over 110 Tons. 5 complete vessels have been chartered from Ravenna (one of them with part of the loading coming from Trieste s port) plus two ships with partial loads from Constanta (Romania) and Salerno (Italy). Our staff have followed all shipments, all the steps of loading and unloading. We also prepared a special area for unloading at the port of Alexandria as it has no specific areas for rolling stock. 6
General Electric Case study SALCEF - Operative focus For this project our group was responsible for loading the wagons, making five chartered vessels at principals of Ravenna, Trieste and Salerno (Italy) and Constanta (Romania) and unloading activities in Alexandria and Abu Dhabi. ARGOL VILLANOVA has coordinated all the operations of transfer of material, also providing RO-Ro shipment on MAFI. For all of those shipments our assistance was provided during boarding and during landing: our ability to move at the port of Alexandria have allowed a rapid retrieval of assets and discharge areas of materials. With the local agency we provided cranes to create appropriate spaces to complete successfully all shipments. 7
General Electric Case study SALCEF - Operative focus The Customs support on departure and on arrival and coordination of the Italian team and the local Egyptian has been one of our main strengths allowing us to find quick operational solutions. Such cooperation between our team has also allowed the supervision of the transport documents that permitted to work and operate swiftly and cost-effectively in a very particular and complex environment We assisted Salcef in the relations with ENR (Egyptian National Rail) to configure the full logistic operation at arrival complying with the contract between Salcef and ENR and special customs issues. 8

Case study MWI - Description For MWI, a joint venture between Schneider and Marzotto Groups, we care the Door to Door service from different locations in Europe to Sadat City for a plant of wool treatment, the services were including expediting, parts collection, packaging, shipping, custom clearance and delivery at the site. With dry containers and out of gauge, from various pick up points,we handled over 200 TEUs were. We care even the expediting at arrival allowing the construction of the factory according the engineering plan and minimizing port costs for demurrages. 11

Case study Camiceria Valoti - Description For Valoti we took care of packing services, shipping, customs clearance and delivery of a complete plant for the production of shirts in Egypt, Helwan. 13
Case study Ezz Steel Group- Description Forwarding services, customs clearance and delivery of parts of the plant and machinery out of gauge for the Ezz Steel Group were performed targeted at different plants on Egyptian territory. 14

Case study CiC - Description Since two years we follow the entire cycle of the CiC (International Conference Center of Algiers): our expertise to this important project concerning the management of over 20,000 Tons of material to be distributed in an area of 110,000 square meters. 18

Case study FATA - Description We followed for three years the progress and implementation of the system called "Hormozal PROJECT" with shipments of material to Iran. The project involved the management of over 100,000 Mc material, with cargoes loaded for 50% of ships break Bulk and the rest in container 40 and Box 40 OT. moved approx. 1,200 cnts. Italy and Dubai. 21

Case study CERN - Description View of the LHC tunnel, where the dipole magnets were placed LHC (Large Hadron Collider) is a particle accelerator, the largest and most important scientific instrument ever built. Our group has contributed (along with 50 other companies) to the construction of the LHC, carrying 850 dipole magnets. For years we have designed the parts of the LHC (cold mass) of 25 mt. long vehicles from Italy, France and Germany at CERN in Geneva. 23
Case study ZWAHLEN & MAYR - Description Our company has been working for some time with the Zwahlen & Mayr, one of the world leaders in steel construction. Z & M produces bridges, industrial buildings and stadiums, its headquarter is in Aigle (Switzerland) and we transported their products to France and Belgium. We have dealt with goods that have reached 4.50 meters. in width, 30 mt. In length, 3.70 meters. in height and weight of 40 Tons. Z & M also produces stainless steel tubes, up to 32 mt. in length, which were packed and that our Group has gathered and transferred to Germany, France and Italy. 24
