Modules at a glance ARBURG host computer system (ALS) As the central tool for modern and efficient organisation of injection moulding production, the ALS offers a wide range of functions. Its clearly structured, modular design allows for flexible adaptation to individual tasks and requirements. The ALS package offers an ideal entry. The configuration can be easily expanded at any time. Important terms and abbreviations - Operating states = Automatic, manual, set-up, conversion, alarm and standstill - Events = Changes of shift, order, program or mould, break times, unit volume information and changes to the cycle time or cavities The individual modules can be combined with one another as with a construction kit. Quality assurance Secure collection and archiving of setting data (programs) The recording of actual process values makes it possible to reproduce changes in the production process. Documentation/archiving More than 100 pre-defined evaluations for the targeted optimisation of production sequences available at the press of a button. Evaluations can be exported in various different formats. Reports Evaluation of data, states and events 610/01 - Determination of indicators for machines, orders, items and moulds (according to VDMA 66412-1) - Creation of order, item, machine, mould and maintenance-related evaluations with clear graphical diagrams - Evaluation intervals can be selected, e.g. based on shift, day, week, month and year - Export of evaluations to DOC, XLS, HTML, XML, RTF and PDF format also automatically - In combination with other modules: conversion and maintenance plans or provisioning lists for materials and moulds Progression Production progress on machines 610/08 - Machine-related display of operating states and events, such as changes of shift, order, program or mould, break times, unit volume information and changes to the cycle time or cavities - Display period up to 62 days in the past 1) 2) Set-up log Archiving of changes in settings related to the day - Saving changes in parameters, sequences, order, program and mould data - Archiving of data either in HTML, BIN, TXT or CSV format 610/10 1) 2) Production log Archiving of production data related to the day - Storage of production data, such as information about an order, program, mould or defined process parameters - Archiving of data either in HTML or CSV format 610/15 1) For machines from other manufacturers it is necessary for the relevant manufacturer to examine the range of functions in the context of a possible interface in line with Euromap 63 or 77. 2) Requirements: ALLROUNDER with SELOGICA control system version 3.090 or higher. 9

Documentation/archiving Production-related documents, such as mould drawings, can be stored centrally and linked to other data. Production/resource management Interactive planning charts for the direct assignment of orders to machines and the creation of order queues. The various steps involved in an order can be linked together. Production/resource management Interactive check lists simplify the documentation of maintenance operations. Automatic notification of events via e-mail.
