NOTICE FOR INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS Introduction IDBI Bank is a Public Sector Bank having its Headquarters at IDBI Tower, WTC Complex, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai 400 005. Bank proposes to carry out renovation/ interior furnishing works for its existing office premises at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The Bank invites application for pre-qualification from reputed, experienced and Indian Registered contractors/firms for pre-qualificationfor the following disciplines viz, Civil &Interior furnishing works, renovation of Toilet, supply and installation of modular furniture for its office premises at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The contractor should meet the minimum qualifying criteria as mentioned in the Prequalification document for the respective works for getting pre-qualified. The detailed Pre-qualification document can be downloaded from Bank s website www.idbi.com. The contractors should according to their eligibility apply for the specific discipline & category of work only. Contractors who wish to apply for more than one discipline & category should do so through separate application. Application complete in all respects should reach General Manager (FIMD), IDBI Bank Ltd, 4 th Floor, IDBI Tower, WTC Complex, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai 400 005 in a sealed cover super scribing Application for Prequalification of Contractors (Category and discipline to be filled). No Joint venture or Consortium of firms shall be allowed and the contractors should meet the above criteria by themselves.the desired contractors should apply on the prescribed documents as per the PQ document along-with documentary evidence for the following: (1) Audited Balance Sheet for the last three years i.e. 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15. (2) Completion Certificates from Clients / Owners, (3) Plant & Machinery holding, (4) Manpower details, (5) Details of pending litigation etc., if any (6) EPF Regn.no along with copy of challan for the month of March 2015. (7) PAN (8) VAT Regn. No. along with Valid Clearance Certificate. (9) Bank Solvency Certificate for 40% value of Pre-qualification Limit issued not before December 2015. (10) Certificate of Incorporation in India. Last date of receipt of pre-qualification application is 9 th February 2016 upto 5.00 pm. The delayed application shall not be considered. Corrigendum/ addendums, if any to this NIT shall only be posted on IDBI Bank s website. 2

Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons and to restrict the list to any number deemed suitable by it, if many applications are received satisfying the basic pre - qualification criteria. Instructions to bidders 1. Each page of the application shall be signed by a person having necessary authority to do so. 2. If the space in the Performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in separate sheets. 3. The bidder should have their office based in Mumbai (preferably Navi Mumbai) with sufficient no.of technically qualified staff. 4. Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case certain item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate information is liable to be rejected. 5. Any information furnished by the applicant is found to be incorrect at a later stage; the contractor is liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up any future work in the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. 6. The tender/price bid will be issued to those Bidders who meet the pre-qualification criteria. No eligibility will be changed at any circumstances. 7. No Correspondence will be made with un-qualified bidders. 8. The bidder must not have been blacklisted by any of the public sector Banks/Private Banks/Co-operative Banks/Any Govt./Semi Govt. Dept in last 5 years nor shall their name be figured in the IBA caution list. An undertaking on the company/firm s letter head has to be given by the bidder. 9. IDBI Bank Ltd reserve the right to modify the eligibility criteria, to decide on cut off date of implementation, to accept or reject any application, to annul the Pre-Qualification process, to reject all applications or accept new applications at any time, without assigning any reason or incurring any liability to the applicants. 10. For the purpose of pre-qualification, applicants will be evaluated on the basis of minimum stipulated financial and past-experience criteria. 11. References, information and certificates from the respective clients certifying suitability, technical knowhow or capability of the applicant should be signed by an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent. 12. The applicant may furnish any additional information which he thinks is necessary to establish his capabilities to successfully complete the works. The applicants are however, advised not to furnish superfluous information. No information shall be entertained after submission of pre-qualification documents unless it is called for by IDBI Bank Ltd 5

13. The past experience in similar nature of work should be supported by certificates issued by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. Work experience/ Completion certificate shall be supported with copies of Work Order and Full Payment & TDS certificate issued by the owner for the work executed. 14. The gross annual turnover should be certified by the Chartered Accountant. Year in which no turnover is shown would also be considered for working out the average. 15. Prospective applicants may request for clarifications on the pre-qualification document, if any on or before 4 th February 2016. No request for clarification will be considered after that date. 16. Pre-qualification letters/ intimation will be sent to only those successful applicants who meet the qualifying criteria. 17. In case of supply of Modular Furniture, the bidder should be a parent manufacturer and have factory with all in house facilities and machineries for its manufacturing. Location of factory with details of the machinery and QC equipment should be submitted. 18.
