The purpose of the job also summarizes the various accountabilities in the job. Manage and direct the performance of inspection engineering division organization. Provides technical supports for Stationary Equipments to assure compliance with the approved specifications. Develops recommendations and special studies for breakdown, plant modifications, design and implementation. Provides technical support in corrosion, metallurgy, welding, cathodic protection, civil, and structural fields. 2.0 ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: In a job, employees are accountable for realizing part of the organization s objectives. 2.3 Determine bad actors and recommends permanents solution to prevent reoccurrence. 2.4 Performs supervisory duties at the level established by management for the position. Coordinates training of engineers in the development program as assigned. 2. Regularly encourages the team for self-development and recommend effective proactive improvement practices. 2.6 Long term studies of problems and equipment to verify nature of problems, determine causes and recommend long term solutions to recurring problems including changing equipment specifications, operational parameters or modifying plant design. 2.7 Prepare the division monthly report. 2.8 Ensures the implementation and compliance with SK SHEM 07 requirements. 2.9 Support STRP-4 program and implementation. 2. Assess employee s competences and development training progress. 2. Insure that all inquires of SAP system are fulfilled and target dates are met. 2.11 Performs other duties such as developing training programs, ensuring observance of all safety procedures, holding regular safety, technical and quality meetings. 3.0 REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:: Describe the minimum educational level and additional work knowledge typically required for the job to be performed at a competent level. This has to do with the educational background, special courses, experience in specific areas and in specific circumstances, minimum number of years of experience, etc. Qualifications: 1. Minimum Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 1. 1 years of professional experience in petrochemical or Oil production industry, including 4 years in a supervisory position. 2. API-,70,63 certification, AWS/CSWIP certified Welding Inspector, NDT level II certification in RT, UT, MT, PT, ET/VT. Skills: 1. Proficient supervision and communication skills. 2. Proficient knowledge in Static Equipments. 3. Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills. 4. Computer Literate (MS Office applications).. Good knowledge of Plant engineering and costs. 6. Good report writing and presentation skills. 7. Investigate failure causes of critical & semi critical pressure vessels, tanks and piping equipment, points out root cause analysis, alternatives and identifies fast suitable action to be taken considering factors of downtime required, resources and materials cost, provision of stand-by equipment, materials availability.
