Heat Treatment Every single quality heat treatment process is followed by contact thermocouples attached on the surface of the forgings. 8 to 12 different contact thermocouples are located in each heat treatment batch. Temperature uniformity in the full batch is ± 2.5 C.
Heat Treatment Capacity 28 000 Tons/Month Water change by cooling tower 6 time per hour. Very high efficiency of the quenching tanks assure consistent through-thickness properties.

FOCUS ON QUALITY: Laboratory FOMAS Lab is approved: S400 (GE AE); ISO/IEC 17025 (STUCK TVO) and is equipped with a Robotized System for Tensile and Impact tests. Specimen dimensions are measured by automatic devices before testing. Specimes are then automatically loaded and tested by the robotized system.
