Sponsor/ Exhibitor Dates and Deadlines Mark your calendars and review the following dates and deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact Minnesota Milk today. NOTE: The show has been moved to Wednesday and Thursday. Monday, September 21 Minnesota Milk Member Preference Deadline All members of Minnesota Milk will be guaranteed an exhibit space and given booth preference until September 21. After this date, it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Booth Assignments All booths will be assigned based on the following criteria: 1. Sponsorship Level 2. Minnesota Milk Membership 3. Date Payment is Received Applications will still be accepted after September 21 as space allows. Pre-Show Information DAIRY Electricity Electricity is not included with your booth and must be ordered directly from the River s Edge Convention Center. An advance electrical services order form is available on our website at www. mnmilk.org and must be received at least 10 days before the show. Wireless Internet Complimentary wireless internet will be available to all Sponsors courtesy of Minnesota Milk. A wi-fi code will be included in your registration packets at the show. Registration/Name Badges Everyone attending the Dairy Conference and Expo will receive a name badge, unless they prefer to wear their company badge. Please list everyone working your booth in advance to streamline the registration process. Name badges received in advance will be in the sponsor packet when you arrive on-site. Meals The designated amount of meal tickets will be included for each meal. For example, if you select the Bronze package, your company/ organization will receive 2 meal tickets for breakfast and dinner on Wednesday and 2 for breakfast and lunch on Thursday. Tickets will be in the sponsor packet when you arrive on-site. All Staff working your booth are encouraged to attend the educational sessions. Extra meal tickets are NOT available. Instead, you would need to purchase 1 or 2-Day Conference Registrations if you need more meals than your package provides. Donate to Be a Scholarship Funder Each year, the Dairy Expo hosts a Live Auction to raise funds for the Scholarship Programs of Minnesota Milk Producers and Upper Midwest Dairy Industry Associations. Since 2006, over $63,000 has been distributed through this program. There are three ways you can help support the Scholarship Programs. 1. Monetary donation 2. Donate an item, product, or service to be auctioned off If your donation (monetary or item/ product/ service) is valued at $250 or greater, you will be recognized as a 2016 Scholarship Funder. This includes special recognition on our website, and all press releases and communications throughout the year. 3. Donate a bottle of wine (valued at $10 and up) to the Wallof-Wine We will sell corks for all of the donated wine for $10 at the Minnesota Milk Trade Show Booth on Wednesday afternoon until 4:00 p.m. or until all corks are sold. This is a fun way for you to help raise funds for these Scholarship Programs. Official Show Program Advertising The Dairy Star newspaper will be printing the official show program for this year s Dairy Expo. The Program will feature in-depth interviews with speakers and include the agenda, auction items, trade show layouts and a listing of all sponsors. At-the-Show Information Show Hours Wednesday, December 2 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Set-Up Hours All Sponsors need to be set-up and ready by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2. Scheduled times for set-up include: Tuesday, December 1 -- Drive-In Equipment & Supplies: 8:00 a.m. until Noon **Advance Registration Required by November 17** -- All Exhibitors: Noon until 5 p.m. (doors will be locked at 5 p.m.) Wednesday, December 2 -- All Exhibitors: 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. (Show starts at 9:00 a.m.) Meals The designated amount of meal tickets will be included for each meal. For example, if you select the Bronze package, your company/ organization will receive 2 meal tickets for breakfast and dinner on Wednesday and 2 for breakfast and lunch on Thursday. Tickets will be in the sponsor packet when you arrive on-site. Extra meal tickets are NOT available. Instead, you would need to purchase 1 or 2-Day Conference Registrations if you need more meals than your package provides. Everyone can pull-up to the front door of the River s Edge Convention Center to unload materials. Once unloaded, please return and move your car so it is not towed. There is also an external door on the north side of the building where you can unload materials. Again, move your car immediately so that it is not towed or ticketed. To drive-in and unload, advance registration is required by November 18 with Minnesota Milk at mmpa@mnmilk.org or by phone (763) 355-9697. Forklift Forklift service will be available for loads under 2,300 pounds on a firstcome, first-serve basis. If your load weighs more than 2,300 pounds, or is too bulky for a single forklift to pick up safely, you will need to pre-order a forklift from A&N Convention Services at (320) 253-4050. Take-Down Please respect participants by waiting until 2:00 p.m. to take down on Thursday. The exhibitor hall must be cleared out by 4:00 p.m. unless special arrangements have been made with the show coordinator.
