CENTRIA Profile Series Exposed Fastener Metal Roof Panels CENTRIA Profile Series Exposed Fastener Metal Roof Panels are a versatile design choice for both new and retrofit projects. Panels are manufactured in many different coil coating systems and painted with a wide variety of manufacturer's standard colors plus an unlimited choice of custom colors. Basic coil materials are galvanized steel, Galvalume and Galvalume Plus coated steel, aluminum, and a distinctive moderately reflective stainless steel. CENTRIA Profile Series Metal Roof Panels are available with a flat or embossed exterior surface. Accessories are available for most applications. CENTRIA Exposed Fastener Series Metal Roof Panels are manufactured and coated with CENTRIA's Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000 -based fluoropolymer or Versacor Ultra corrosion- and abrasion- resistant finishes. Highly UV resistant and durable in the face of chemical and air borne pollution, salt spray and winddriven sand, CENTRIA coatings set the standard for the industry. CENTRIA coatings are available in over 60 standard colors and additional custom colors. Consult your local CENTRIA architectural representative for design assistance. Examine metal roof panel installation substrate with Installer present. Inspect for erection tolerances and other conditions that would adversely affect installation of metal roof panels. Do not install metal roof panels until substrate meets requirements. 1. Inspect framing that will support metal roof panel system to determine if support components are installed as indicated on approved shop drawings. Confirm presence of acceptable framing members at recommended spacing to match installation requirements of metal roof panels. 2. Panel Support Tolerances: Install metal roof panels on substrate within tolerances acceptable to metal roof panel system manufacturer: 3.2 INSTALLATION a. Maximum out of plane deviation 1/4 inch in 20 feet (6 mm in 6.1 m). b. Maximum deviation 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) over entire roof. A. General: Install metal roof panel system in accordance with approved shop drawings and manufacturer's recommendations. Install metal roof panels in orientation, sizes, and locations indicated. Install metal roof panels in one piece lengths from the ridge to eave unless otherwise indicated on approved shop drawings. Anchor panels and other components securely in place. Provide for thermal and structural movement. B. Attach panels to metal framing using recommended screws, fasteners, sealants, and adhesives indicated on approved shop drawings. 1. Fasten metal roof panels to supports with exposed fasteners at location, spacing recommended by manufacturer, and with fasteners recommended by manufacturer. Anchor to supports with self-tapping fasteners approved by manufacturer. 2. Provide weatherproof escutcheons for pipe and conduit penetrating roof. 3. Dissimilar Materials: Where elements of metal roof panels installation will come into contact with dissimilar materials, treat faces and edges in contact with dissimilar materials as recommended by manufacturer.
