Apart from this the construction activity will be carried out in day time only. During the operation phase of the project, the noise emission is caused only due to DG sets installed for backup power supply. As the DG sets will be placed in an acoustic enclosure, hence the noise generated meets the ambient standard as per MoEF norms. 6.2 From industrial or similar processes. t Applicable 6.3 From construction or demolition Due to the various construction activities, there will be short-term noise impacts in the immediate vicinity of the project site. The construction activities will include the following noise generating activities: Operation of DG sets, concreting & mixing Excavation for foundation and grading of the site. Construction plant and heavy vehicle movement. Construction of structures and facilities. 6.4 From blasting or piling blasting or mechanized piling will be done in construction phase. 6.5 From construction or operational traffic Some noise will be generated from vehicular movement in the construction and operational phase. Every possible provision will be taken up to avoid/minimize traffic chaos. During construction phase noise will be generated due to excavation machineries, movement of heavy vehicles like trucks. In Operational phase major source of noise is D.G. set which will operate in case of power failure. Increase in noise and vibration due to traffic of project site will be marginal. Hence noise and vibration due to traffic is not anticipated on the project site. This will be minimized by plantation along the roadside. M/s. DAR Housing Ltd. 15 JM EnviroNet Pvt. Ltd.
