ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS : -B.Sc. Degree with grade Very Good in Mechanical Power Engineering, Mattaria, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, 1978. 1
-M. Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Helwan University, Mattaria, Cairo, Egypt, 1986. - M. Sc. Thesis entitled " An Investigation About Heat Transfer In Pool Boiling for Binary Mixtures". This research work includes construction of an experimental test facility to study the behavior of heat transfer in pool boiling for pure and soluble liquid mixtures. The pure liquid tested is distilled water, ethanol and acetone, while liquid mixtures are water-ethanol and water-acetone. The heat transfer coefficient is correlated. The results indicated that in boiling liquid mixtures heat transfer is quite dependent on the boiling liquid concentration and physical properties. - Ph. D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Helwan University, Mattaria, Cairo, Egypt, 1993. -Ph.. D. Thesis entitled " Some Aspects of Heat Transfer in Water Cooled Cylinder Heads". This research work included a study of the heat transfer characteristics from engine cast iron and cast steel metal to the cooling water in asymmetrically heated rectangular ducts with different aspect ratios. Data were collected in the forced convection regime as well as in surface boiling region; the reasons were to cater for the cylinder head regions where low and high heat fluxes prevail. With each duct, the effects of bulk temperature, flow velocity and heat flux were experimentally evaluated. Correlations were developed from the experimental data using a regression analysis technique in forced convection, incipient boiling and fully developed boiling.. 5.
