Introduction An introduction letter for a new partner is a formal letter written to introduce a new partner in a firm, business or organization. Often it may happen that all the employees in the departments may not know about changes in the management. Therefore it becomes necessary to let the employees know officially and formally who the new partner will be, what help he will need, what his purview will be, what qualifications he has, why he was roped in as a new partner, etc. For all this to be conveyed to the workers and employees, it becomes necessary to write an introduction letter for a new partner. Tips Some tips to write a good introduction letter for a new partner: Always start with the good news that the partner has started working in the office and that this is going to be beneficial to everybody. State his name, his details, his credentials, if necessary. Praise him a little so that everybody knows how important his position in the company is. Make sure you get it across to the readers that in no capacity is the new partner s position unjustified or unfair. There can always be some hostility toward new members of a firm and therefore it s important to dispel all such thoughts through the letter. Never make the letter too long. Throughout the letter, keep the tone short and concise and to-the-point. End the letter by expressing the hope that the employees will cooperate with the new leader and help him achieve his aims and objectives. 2
