Welcome to SNAP Sponsors Congratulations on signing up to use the SNAP Sponsorship portal. This guide has been written to help you get going as fast as possible so that you can start to enjoy the benefits of being part of the SNAP Sponsorship community. SNAP is all about making connections with Clubs and generating revenue and awareness for your Company through Sponsorship deals. We have designed the portal to help Sponsors find the right clubs with assets and demographics that match your brand. If you are interested in sponsoring amateur sports clubs then you have come to the right place. In order to do this, there are some steps that you need to take: Claim or Register your Company great, you have done that part already! Build a compelling profile this is what Clubs will see when you send them a message or deal request. Create your sponsorship packages this will allow you to bulk add sponsorship opportunities advertised by Clubs. You can then approach al the clubs in one go, wrapping them neatly up in an easy to manage package. Tell all your contacts and employees that your Company is using SNAP and invite them to view your profile; invite clubs to sign up too. The more clubs and businesses that use SNAP, the more likely it is that you will secure a profitable deal. SNAP provides you with the ability to showcase your Company in a unique way! These steps are discussed further in this guide but first, you need to know about our extensive knowledge base! How to get help Pretty much everywhere in SNAP you will see this button, either on the right hand side of the screen or at the bottom. If you click Go, a new tab will open up and you will see a Help Article which will directly relate to where you were when you pressed Go. SNAP is not a difficult system to use but it is a powerful tool that may be unlike any software you have used before, therefore we really do suggest that you make use of the help text. The Help Centre home is shown below. SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 1 of 9

There are three sections: one for Clubs, one for Sponsors and one that contains General Help. By clicking on Sponsors you will see all the articles for Sponsors. You can also use the Knowledge Base to submit a support request. If you use the Sign in button you will be able to create an account and track the progress of your Support request. As well as the help text, we will be creating Video tutorials which you will find in several places. More will be added and we recommend that you subscribe to our #SNAPhints channel on YouTube. But subscribing you will receive notifications when new videos are uploaded. To subscribe #SNAPhints, click here. to Building a compelling profile Below is an example of a Company; this is the dashboard view. Before you start working on your profile, take a little time to find your way around the portal. The Dashboard shows all the important information about your business and as you enter data and start to receive messages, it changes to give you a dynamic view of your activity. At the top of the screen, you will see the tool bar: James Sieber is the name of the user. If you click the user name you will go to your user account profile page. When working in SNAP, at any time you can return to the Dashboard by clicking on the button. When things start happening in SNAP, you will receive Notifications, both via the Notifications box and by email. If you click on the Notifications text you will also be able to change your Settings. The settings option allows you to choose which emails you want to receive and how often. SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 2 of 9

Logout as with any software it is always wise to logout when you have finished your session. Just press the Logout text. My Account This option opens up a menu as shown aside. If you see a chevron next to an item, it means there are more options below. To see the additional menu items, just place your cursor on the text to reveal the items from the dropdown list. Library In addition to our Help Articles, SNAP also has an extensive Library of guides written by our Consultants. For Sponsors, you will find articles on topics such as A Sponsor s guide to achieving ROI, Sponsorship as part of the wider marketing mix and so on. These are based on the experiences of SNAP Consulting, a successful consultancy business located in Surrey and the inspiration behind the SNAP portal. Edit your Sponsor profile To edit your profile, from the Dashboard, click Edit your online profile. The Profile will open and you can start entering data for your Company. An example is shown below. The wide image is your Cover Photo; the square image is your Logo photo Use the scroll bar to move through the profile page. You can enter lots of important data in your profile so the page is quite long. Uploading images can be a bit confusing so if you get stuck, watch the video SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 3 of 9

Creating an inviting profile is one of the keys to attracting Clubs so take the time to get it right. You don t need to fill it in all at once, but do make sure that you save any changes before you leave the screen. You can always come back to it later. The Save button is right at the bottom of the page. To find out exactly what and how to complete the profile, please open the help article either by clicking on the Go button in your Profile screen or by clicking this link which will open the article directly. The article details exactly what should be entered into which fields in the profile and why. Sponsorship packages Sponsorship packages have been created to make it easier to manage lots of opportunities with different clubs by collating them into one, easy to access, package. If you see that a single club has lots of opportunities, you can also create a package for just one club. You can create multiple packages with multiple opportunities in them or you don t have to bother with them at all, they are just there to help make the process, and your lives, easier. Before you start you might find it useful to read our Knowledge Base article, Sponsorship Packages which gives some useful guidance about how to approach this. You can find the article here. Once you have decided what you want your package to contain, think about the budget for your package and write a generic message that will be sent to all the clubs with opportunities in your package. So for example, if you are looking to sponsor rugby clubs within a 20 mile radius of you primary location you would make the title: Rugby Clubs Local, the budget at whatever you are willing to pay, the description as whatever you want to remind yourselves of exactly what is in the package (only seen by the you) and add a generic message to initiate communications with the clubs. Once the package is created you will be given the option to add opportunities which you can do via the Manage button. You can read a more about Sponsorship Packages in our Knowledge base click here to go to the relevant section. Searching for opportunities Whether you are searching for opportunities to put in a package or creating individual deals, searching follows the same process. You can search for a particular club or opportunity Set the radius (number of miles from the start postcode You can search from either your location (leave it blank) or from a specific postcode. Set the minimum and maximum price of the opportunities for which you are searching or leave both blank to search on any. Then, press Find to search SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 4 of 9

Advanced Search allows you to further refine your search criteria. To learn more, click here to read the article. The system will display the opportunities that match. To learn about the Club, click it s name, to learn more about the opportunity and express your inteterst in sponsoring it, click View more and then if you wish to start the process of a deal click Express Interest or Add to my Package to initiate a conversation. Push Opportunities Push Opportunities allows you to select multiple clubs and push a sponsorship opportunity to them. These are non-negotiable deals, the club can either accept or reject. Start by selecting Sponsorship Opportunities from the My Account drop-down. Then select Add Push Opportunity. You will be presented with a screen similar to the one below. Fill this out to describe the opportunity which you are offering the clubs. Make it as compelling as possible in order to grab their interest. You must fill out all the information that has a gold asterisk next to the name. An example of how this could be filled out is shown below: Name the opportunity. Enter the value of which you are willing to sponsor the opportunity for. Select the type of contract you want from Handshake agreement, Contract (SNAP) or Contract (Sponsor/preexisting) this is your own contract which you can upload below this dropdown. The Description needs to explain exactly what it is you are offering, along with any specific terms and conditions. Complete all the mandatory boxes (*). SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 5 of 9

Use these buttons to select and then upload your contract. Upfront payment on agreement. Annual value of deal split over the number of years, paid annually. Monthly value of deal split over the number of years, paid monthly. Enter the start date for the deal that you are pushing. Enter the end date for the deal that you are pushing. Lastly check the invoicing requirement that SNAP will insert for you from the data that you have entered in the Company s profile. You can amend the data and enter a purchase order number if you wish. Once this has been done click Save to create and proceed to the next step. SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 6 of 9

You will now be directed to the Activations page. Here you add any activation which, as the sponsor, you require the club to do as part of the deal. An example is shown below: Name the activation. Price the total cost of the activation, this is not included in the value of the opportunity. Once you ve created that activation (if a Club accepts the deal, they will be able to add specific tasks to make the activation happen) you can either Add another activation or, if that s the only activation required, click Save and you will now be able to start finding Clubs to whom you want to push this opportunity. This is achieved via the Manage option. You will be taken to a search screen where, you can search for a club, by name, distance in miles and or post code. There is also an advanced search feature. This includes fields such as: Gender, Membership size, County, Funding Target and so on. Once all criteria that is required has been selected or entered, click on Find to search for all the clubs that fit the search. SNAP Sponsorship Ltd November 2016 Page 7 of 9

The search results are displayed in list view however there is the option to select a map view to help visualise locations. Now simply select all the clubs you want to add by selecting the tick box next to the club distance then, once you ve got all the clubs you want, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add Selected Recipients. You will be asked to confirm your selection and there is the facility to Remove Recepients too. Finally, once you have selected all the clubs you want, at the top of the page, selcet Push to selected participants. You will be asked to confirm again. Make sure you are 100% happy as once pushed, the opportunity cannot be amended. You will be returned to the Manage screen and from there you can view the progress of your push opportunities by clicking manage or you can keep adding more push opportunities using the process just described. Remember, if you need any assistance through any of the processes listed in the sponsor sign up, the Knowledge Base is available at every step of the way with links specific to your current page.
