METAL BUSHING OUR COMPANY We give shape to ideas 1 2 4 3 SETVIS-FISAT was set up in Vercelli in 1933. The company specialized in plastic material printing and has constantly been investing in cutting-edge technology and know-how for the design, mould manufacturing and moulding of advanced plastic materials, still based in its long-standing business location, which was recently refurbished, though preserving the original architectural style. The engineering products manufactured by the company are used in many industrial applications and applied to the most diverse destinations of use, also as an alternative to metal products. What is the most suitable material? What is the ideal shape for a moulded product? What is the mechanical, chemical, electrical and thermal resistance of a moulded product? Our Engineering Department can effectively reply to all the above questions, by providing customers with full assistance, starting with the design step, which is essential to manufacture the perfect products that will meet their requirements. Customers are supported throughout the design process, from finished component calculations to product layout and engineering design with a view to easier product moulding. The know-how we have developed over time makes us the ideal partner for full product development - from the design step to mould manufacturing, from moulding to engineering processing and logistics management for customized packaging solutions. DESIGN A careful new-technology investment policy and constant update are the assets that enable our Engineering Dept to interact with our customers engineering software throughout the design process. We shape customers ideas, starting from any inputs, whether specific requests, drawings, samples or simply descriptions of customer requirements. MOULD MANUFACTURING Our plant facilities are equipped and suitably sized in order to create the moulds required to manufacture the ordered items. Our equipment includes high-speed workstations, die sinking and wire electro-erosion machines, digitalcontrol lathes, tempering and grinding furnaces, which allows us to implement all the processing steps in our production facilities. PA66 moulded bearing supports. The moulds are made of tempered steel (up to 54 rockwell) and assembled with certified normalized machinery, equipped with conditioning systems and constantly maintained to ensure excellent performance over time. PRODUCTION We are fully equipped to mould a wide range of polymers thanks to a constantly updated raw material warehouse, stocked with hundreds of compound types. Our manufacturing equipment performs automatic and semi-automating moulding, co-moulding with metal inserts and overmoulding. Commodities: PS - PP - PE - PMMA - ABS Technopolymers: PA - POM - PPS - PEEK - PBT - PET natural or coloured, with glass, teflon and carbon filler or combined fillers Thermosetting plastics: BMC, SMC, melamine and phenolic resins, urea Our thermoplastic injection moulding machines (capacity = 35 to 550 Tons), equipped with drying hoppers and dehumidifiers, ensure the production of up to 2,6 kg component items (ps=1) Our direct-compression thermoset presses can mould up to 5kg items. Textile machine components in phenolic resin with brass inserts. STEP 3 50% fibreglass PA6 co-moulded detail.

FINISHING Post-moulding processing is an essential part of our service range, as our customers can rely on a single partner supplying them with a fully finished product, ready for the customer s assembly line or logistics warehouse. The quality of our products is ensured by the exclusive use of certified raw materials, the guaranteed top performance of our production systems throughout the manufacturing process as well as a metrology room for constant monitoring of the required thresholds. In order to further improve our quality standards we are in the process of being granted UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certification.
