PLUMAS RURAL SERVICES Serving people, Strengthening families, Building communities Job Description Title: Hours: Wage Range: Supervisor: Exempt Status: Housing Coordinator Up to 40 hours per week $16.41 per hour to $18.94 per hour Chief Operating Officer Non-Exempt Position Description: The Housing Program provides client services and supports to Plumas County Behavioral Health clients in need of emergency lodging, transitional housing, and ancillary supports, such as prescription drug assistance, utility, and rental assistance. Position is responsible for overall implementation and coordination of housing program including supervision of Maintenance Coordinator and Housing Navigator. The position requires significant client contact and travel. Program Management duties Provision of Clients Services and Transitional Housing Attends webinars, conference calls, etc. to collaborate with statewide partners Responsible for the development, revision and implementation of new regulations, policies, procedures and protocols Trains and instructs Housing staff on new regulations, program changes and emerging issues Ensure day to day operations of the Housing Program by organizing, structuring and planning service delivery Consistently reviews emerging issues in the field of emergency lodging, transitional housing and mental health and plans for upcoming changes Actively engages in future planning for Housing Program including new program development, approval and implementation of new programs, projects, etc. Accountable for working with Chief Operating Officer to ensure the program complies with all fiscal, administrative, and operational requirements as required by the funding sources Ensure that staff are aware of and follow all programmatic and agency policies, procedures and protocols Monitors fidelity of implementation of policies, procedures and protocols Works with Community Training Manager to ensure all inservice trainings with community partners occur annually and/or bi-annually per operational agreements Works with Chief Operating Officer to ensure high quality of services provided and high client satisfaction Works with Program Resource Developer to prepare all client and program statistical data and narratives required by contract Responsible for working closely with Plumas County Behavioral Health (PCBH) Housing Case Manager to ensure the needs of all program participants are met Responsible for working with clients who have been approved by authorized PCBH staff Responsible for locating and securing emergency lodging throughout Plumas County Responsible for ensuring that each area of the County has available emergency lodging during busy times of the year Responsible for developing relationships with landlords and securing transitional housing for PCBH clients Responsible for processing purchase orders for rental, utility, and prescription drug assistance.
