Mammut XT Mammut XT New
Choose. Set. Done: Tie from One Side. Or Both! The new wall formwork system for civil engineering and architectural construction Tieing from one side only can be an advantage when, for example, pouring long and high walls. Yet all solutions developed so far and offered on the market require parts and a different setup for either side of the formwork. This is about to change with the new Mammut XT formwork system, developed on the basis of our philosophy: Better beats Good. Mammut XT offers you different tieing methods in one system and saves you from technical or logistic disadvantages. The new Mammut XT: 3 tieing methods in one system, tieing acessories reduced by 50 % plus identical formwork setup on both sides. No modification, conversion or add-on required. Three tieing methods in one system The system s integrated XT allows you to use any of the following tieing methods and flexibly change from one to another: n New: Tie from one side only using DW 20 tie rods and plastic sleeves. The tie rod and articulated flange nut are joined firmly, forming one part: the new XT tie rod. n New: Tie from one side only using taper ties without plastic sleeves. n Proven: Tie from both sides with DW 20 or DW 5 tie rods and plastic sleeves. 2
Mammut XT The New Wall Formwork System Mammut XT system benefits n Mammut XT is based on the proven and successful Mammut 350 system and its load capacity of 00 kn/m² (according to the European standard DIN 820 table 3, line 7). n Enjoy a symmetrical tie-hole and joint pattern on the concrete surface no matter what panel sizes you use. n Benefit from a 25 cm width grid thanks to the large selection of panel heights (350, 300, 250 and 25 cm) and panels widths (250, 25, 00, 75, 50, 25 cm). n Achieve corners of any wall thickness in 5 cm increments with only 3 outside and 2 inside corners. Their side lengths are 0/0/5 cm and 35/ respectively.. Photo below: Known and in high demand since the launch of the Mammut system many years ago: the M clamp which joins and aligns panels with only a few hammer blows. It has no losable parts. 3
Add Three Options. Save on Parts. The system that saves you time and labour n No conversions, modifications or add-ons required when switching from one to twosided tieing. n The two sides of the formwork setup are identical, saving you from additional preparation or handling efforts. n The XT tie hole is built into the frame, i.e. no protruding or loose parts. n You save the articulated flange nut on one side entirely, the number of parts is reduced by 50%. Technical features n XT tie hole with rotating sphere for two settings: one with conical anchor sleeve and one with DW-20 thread. n Frame hot dip galvanised. n The bump notch on large panels allows you to easily move them into their final position. n New: All cross stiffeners are multifunction profiles with welded-in DW nuts. Attaching accessories is easier than ever. No difference between the two sides of the formwork setup. Reduce tie parts by 50%. Three tieing methods in one system. No additions, modications or conversion parts. This is the Mammut XT. 4
Mammut XT The New Wall Formwork System Work Smarter, not Harder. Clever Details. New park position for XT tie rod The new Mammut XT system joins tie rod and articulated flange nut to become a single part: the XT tie rod. In order to simplify handling and and logistics even more, the system offers a new tie rod holder that plugs into the multifunction profile via pin. Thus, the parts needed for tieing travel with the panel to the next pour. They do not have to be transported, stored and looked for. n The park position tie rod holder is plugged into the multifunction profile via pin, exactly like the walkway bracket plugs in. n This works with panels in vertical and horizontal position. n The holder secures automatically so that nothing can slip out. n All parts needed for tieing remain with the panel and cannot get lost. n No storage, transport or searching for parts. n The park position fits Mammut and Mammut 350 panels equally. The clamp at hand, always in a safe position The large panels of the new Mammut XT system are equipped with a clamp holder alongside normal clamp positions. After stripping the formwork, attach each clamp to a holder and secure it with just one hammer blow. When moving panels from one pour to the next, the correct number of clamps travel with them, at hand and ready for the next assembly. No transport, no storage, simple logistics and time savings are your benefits. 5
More flexibility. Fewer parts. Heights of 350, 300, 250 and 25 cm and widths of 250, 25, 00, 75, 50, 25 cm deliver a harmonious 25 cm width footprint. Tie holes are on the inside of the pannel and symmetrically arranged. 25 cm 250 cm 25 cm 50 cm 75 cm 00 cm 25 cm 250 cm 300 cm 350 cm 6
