A full manual driving licence and computer literacy are therefore essential. Good communication skills are vital as the successful candidate will be liaising with various outside parties. An ability to stay calm under pressure, to prioritise workload, and to work unsupervised is also essential. Flexibility in working hours will also be required as the ability to work late nights and early mornings is essential. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Reporting to: Responsible for: Job Location: Publicity Assistant Commercial Manager No direct reports Any of the premises and operating areas for Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel and Carousel Buses. Main Purpose of Job: To support the Marketing Officers and the Commercial Manager in successfully meeting the marketing and publicity team objectives. Duties: Pro-actively manage distribution list of outlets for publicity materials, including quantities, and refresh displays accordingly at regular intervals as agreed. Monitor take-up of stock and advise if collateral levels are running low, both at outlets and in main stores Produce publicity for on-bus and bus stop displays, liaising with print and design agencies as necessary Distribute publicity at bus stops across Oxfordshire and other operating areas a full manual driving licence is essential Maintain and develop relationships with third-party resellers Updating of electronic screens and destination equipment (training will be given) Assist the Marketing Officers with tasks as necessary Any other reasonable duties. Performance Measures: Meeting objectives as set by the Commercial Manager Efficient and robust control of marketing collateral stock Accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines Attendance Working Conditions: Van driving, roadside and office based.
