About reverse osmosis Principles of the reverse osmosis water treatment We can place two kinds of solution (one is dilute and the other is concentrated, same volume) at two sides of a can, separated by a semi-permeable membrane. The solvent of dilute solution will flow into concentrated solution naturally and form a height between two kinds of solutions keeping it balanced, which is called pressure difference.
If we set a power bigger than pressure difference upon to concentrated solution, the solvent in it will flow to the dilute solution. This process is called reverse osmosis, meaning the opposite flowing direction goes against the natural flow. Application: RO Reverse osmosis technology is widely used in electronic, electrical, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, beverage and water industries. Such as for drinking water, irrigating crops and plants, for food/beverage production line, etc.
