Readiness Posture Report in BusinessObjects Version #1 23-Jan-2016 Page 2 of 10 Purpose This job aid is intended to assist with running the Readiness Posture report in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). Reminder: The SAP BusinessObjects reports show the previous day s transactions. The data is extracted each day from the GCSS-Army ECC transaction system, beginning at 00:00 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Background Information The Army Materiel Status System (AMSS) derives readiness reporting data from the GCSS-Army Enterprise Central Component (ECC) transaction system for units currently using GCSS-Army. This data is only available to AMSS when the Property Book Officer (PBO) identifies each unit s AMSS reporting force element (FE) in the AMSS Rptg FE field of the Property Book Structure Workbench (ZPBOSTRUC). Once entered in ZPBOSTRUC, this information becomes visible in transaction /ISDFPS/LSP2, which is available to Maintenance Managers. The Maintenance community uses this information to view force structure and FEs associated with Maintenance activities and also for the NET USR to calculate the R-Rating. For this report, the equipment readiness code (ERC) is set by the PBO on the equipment master record. Important: If a unit s AMSS Rptg FE field is blank, then that unit s readiness data is not included in the AMSS readiness reports and will show as not assigned in the Readiness Posture report. Report Overview The following is an overview of the Readiness Posture report: Displays the readiness reporting data from the GCSS-Army Enterprise Central Component (ECC) transaction system for units currently using GCSS-Army. Maintains data for the previous four years plus the current year for a total of five years of data. Excludes equipment that have the EX-R (Readiness Reporting Exemption) set on the equipment master in ECC. Note: This filter can be removed in the report to view all non-reportable equipment. Allows the selection of multiple force element (FE) nodes on the prompts window. Defaults the current readiness reporting period. Note: A different month/year can be selected. Important: Only one period can be entered. Allows the selection of multiple equipment identification codes (EIC) on the prompts window allowing echelons above the brigade to view fleet readiness at the DA level. Includes data from the following maintenance readiness reports previously displayed on the GCSS-Army Portal: o Equipment Exception o Non-Mission Capable o Feeder Data to DA Form 2715 o Projection o NMC Roll-up By EIC o Roll-up By Admin Number o NMC Roll up by UIC o System Status Summary Navigate to SAP BusinessObjects 1.
