US Patent Number 9151009 B2 Advanced Synthetic Grass Geomembrane Liner For Long-Term Environmental Closure
Bringing Sustainable Solutions to the Surface LiteEarth is an engineered, patented synthetic grass liner system used for long-term closure of landfills and coal ash sites. LiteEarth is a cost-effective, durable, high-performing and environmentally-friendly closure system for municipal solid waste, construction & demolition, hazardous waste, CCR and industrial landfills. Soil covers and some infilled systems require labor intensive installation and high annual maintenance cost, and are vulnerable to interface issues and weather-related events that may lead to failure. The advanced LiteEarth system offers efficient installation, and long-term protection against infiltration, soil erosion and wind uplift. LiteEarth is a member of American Coal Ash Association * U.S. Patent No. 9,151,009 B2
Proven tested technologies. DESIGN SIMPLICITY The ethylene polymer diene monomer (EPDM) geomembrane liner the barrier component of the product has been used successfully worldwide as an environmental protection liner for more than 40 years. SYNTHETIC GRASS The synthetic grass is a highly engineered product born from years of experience in its use in sports facilities and airport environments. The EPDM and turf components are factory bonded using an advanced composite adhesive. EPDM GEOMEMBRANE Trenchless earth anchors are quick and easy to install and tested for maximum wind uplift. A high performance butyl adhesive splice is used for seaming, providing greater shear strength than thermoplastic fusion welds. BUTYL ADHESIVE SPLICING Earth Anchor

Advanced Composite Adhesive Factory bonding permanently adheres synthetic turf to EPDM through heated and high compression rollers. Proven synthetic elastomer technology for bonding EPDM and like substrates Comparative testing to 60 years Flash point 400 F
Easy, efficient installation Earth Anchors LiteEarth is designed for quick and easy install using trenchless earth anchors. Adjustable, site specific depth and lock back options Tested to resist Level IV hurricane wind speeds Maximum certified load lock EPDM has high tensile strength for wind uplift protection and steep side slopes Pull-through tests resulted in an average resistance of 1,300 pounds for 3 anchor plates and 2,429 pounds for 6 plates.
Seam & Go Technology Expertly designed for simplicity and durability. No welding, no stitching, and no sand infill Features rapid flash-off and curing cycle Strong peel, shear and temperature performance Monolithic liner replaces multiple layers that minimizes on-site construction issues 3 EASY STEPS 1. Position turf panels. Roll back top of overlap panel to prepare the seam. 2. Apply seaming primer and tape. 3. Remove release paper and secure turf panels together.
