9 Eircode files There is two files/databases in relation to Eircodes: Eircode Address File (ECAF) A flat file containing the Eircode and the Postal Address Eircode Address Database (ECAD) A full database containing: the Eircode; Postal Address; Geo-coordinates and Address Aliases The ECAD will be the primary database offered by Value Added Resellers (VARs), Consultants and End Users Eircode Accredited Encoders will ensure completeness & accuracy of encoded files
10 Eircode License Options Eircodes are free to use and no cost using Eircodes collected from your clients Licence only required to access the Eircode products Eircode Address File (ECAF) and Eircode Address Database (ECAD):- ECAF is 60 per user up to a maximum of 5,000 for unlimited users (excludes website) ECAD is 180 per user up to a maximum of 30,000 for unlimited users (Note: the ECAD product has an annual Data Access Fee of 500 for a Direct End User) Alternatively, Eircodes can be accessed through your existing GeoDirectory licence User is a workstation that has access to the information in the Eircode database Annual licence fee is for access to the Eircode database/file
11 Pricing - ECAF (ECAF transactions only available through an Eircode Provider) DATA USAGE FEES Data usage for the ECAF is charged on a Per User or Per Transaction basis. No. of Users Price Per User 1 83 60 Per User Per User/Single Fees are payable annually in advance. An incremental charge will be applied if 5,000 Single 84 - additional users are added during the licence period. Fee 4 per block of 100 Transactions 3,000 Single Fee 25,000 Single Fee Per Transaction Companies can purchase transactions in advance (minimum order of 100 transactions). Use on Website The fee, payable annually in advance, per entity and allows unlimited transactions of the ECAF data on their website by their customers. Group/Legal Entity An identifiable grouping of organisations (e.g. insurance brokers, car dealerships, franchises etc.) can share a copy of the ECAF for a common purpose. The fee is payable annually in advance.
