Our qualified and motivated team develops and manufactures multi-channel testing instruments, probes and cables for the eddy current and ultrasonic inspection. The PLR s own test equipment meets, respectively surpasses, a variety of individual customer requirements of most different branch of industries for example railways, automotive industry and aerospace. The portfolio of our test equipment includes the sorting of different materials and the inspection of surface-open as well inner damages. 11 Development and design We offer you a fitted all-in-one solution for the performance of automated inspections of NDT tasks. Your customer requirements are regularly implemented in hardware and software. Software connections to customer controls and databases are developed and implemented according to the requirements. Our software solutions simplify the processing of complex test task. Multi-lingual visualization of the user interface offers international transparency. Connections to existing industrial environment and manipulators influence the design-related realization. Provided 3D models (Inventor, Step) as well as drawings in 2D format can be applied. Additional functions can be realized by our hardware developer as well as single electronic solution or implementation of hardware-related programming (FPGA) in the test electronics.

13 Rail inspection systems High infrastructure, safety and availability requirements demand a continuous and effective analyse of the track state by using of non-destructive testing methods. PLR s eddy current and ultrasonic inspection systems create data, which are provided by an expert system for the rating of the rail quality or maintenance planning. The integration of automated ultrasonic and eddy current inspection systems at rail inspection trains allows the simultaneous detection and analyse of surface and volume defects. The use of automated eddy current inspection systems at reprofiling trains enables the maintenance performance as well as the proof of the successful performance of reprofiling. The handheld eddy current inspection systems developed by PLR for the one-sided and double-sided rail and switch inspection are based on the same algorithms of data recording and representation of results as used for automated rail inspection and provide compatible inspection results.

15 Automotive and aerospace Modern materials and complex geometries for the automotive and aerospace industries and their suppliers require a high degree of precision and performance to the test equipment. In addition to a high detection capability, process reliability at full utilization and intuitive operation are essential criteria. from the serial test of mass parts (rolling bearing body, valve shafts, battery contacts for electric vehicles) over temperature-independent sorting of material properties (engine bearer) to the manual crack detection at hidden test positions (helicopter engine, sprocket wheel of camshafts).
