In a multi-motor environment with load sharing, Altivar Process can control the drilling line reels of the draw works. It is also equipped with a braking unit and brake management to ensure that tension remains constant. In addition, Altivar Process provides angle control of parallel mud pumps, helping to ensure a more stable, continuous flow while reducing stress on tubes and mechanical parts.

To reduce costs, you can run a step-up, step-down setup with a multi-pulse rectifier to convert MV power into LV (for the drive) then back to MV (to supply the pump).
