Features List Design News Design News editorial placements consist of a high resolution image (300dpi) and roughly a 75 word caption about the latest products on the market. Design News is segregated into different features: - General News & Furniture - Fabrics & Wallpaper - Kitchens - Lighting - Bathrooms - Beds - Outdoors (Spring, London and Summer issues) - Fireplaces (Autumn and Winter Issues) Please note that all text is written by our in-house copywriter, so only a press release/general product information and a high resolution image is required from you. Design Trends A Design Trend is a discussion article written by a designer/company about a subject of your choosing - provided that it will relate to our readers. This is not a piece to promote your company or your products - it is an advice piece. For example, Joni Vanderslice talked about how she loves Blue and White and how she integrates this combination into her work. Or, Neisha Crosland talks about the evolution of pattern and her favourites. For some inspiration on talking points, please go to www.bridgefordesign.com/blog After we have confirmed the topic is suitable for Bridge for Design, we will need roughly 650 words, a selection of high resolution images to accompany the article, and a photograph of the author/designer. Design Projects Design Project pieces can run from a single page through to a multiple page piece depending on the suitability for the magazine/season and also the quality of the photography. These features give designers the opportunity to show off their latest project in an international magazine. For this feature, we need multiple high resolution images (300dpi) of the project and a photograph of the designer*. Regarding the text, all we require is a press release.
