1. How can I pull usage reports by product categories? a. Click on Product Usage>Purchase Details Descending Dollar. b. Click on Cancel to stop the auto report. c. Click on Month to select date range. d. Click on the Class, Category or Group multi select box and select the desired parameter. Use Begins with to speed selection. e. Once selections are made, click on Ok in the lower right corner. f. Click Go in the upper left hand corner of the reporting screen. Page 2
g. You will know the report is running when you see the clock spinning. h. Once report is complete, verify selections by viewing the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the report. i. You can now pull any of the Product Usage reports with the same filters without reselecting. 2. How can I see total purchases? By unit? By manufacturer? By division? a. Click on Product Usage>Purchase Details Descending Dollar. b. Click on Cancel to stop the auto report. Page 3
c. Click on Month to select date range. d. Report will generate for all customers / divisions. e. To view the division, wait until the report finishes generating. Click on the first View by to expose the Division column. f. To view the customer name, click on Then by and click on Go. You will see the clock spinning, indicating that the data is being refreshed. To see all data elements at the invoice line level, run a Data Download Report. 4. How can I pull purchases for a specific product group without knowing all of the product numbers? a. Pull the report by Class, Category or Group. In the example, we will pull a report for all Chicken breasts purchased. Page 6
b. Click on the Group selection box enter the words Chicken, breast into the Begins with box. Click on the Go button to the immediate right. Note: If you don t know the Group name for a particular product, look on the use the Product Hierarchy posted on the Welcome page or look for the assigned hierarchy in any of the Purchase reports for the products. c. All of the groups that begin with Chicken, breast will appear. Page 7
d. Click on the double arrows to move all of the groups to the Selected box and click on OK. e. You will be returned to the main screen. Click on Go in the upper right corner. The report will generate in a minute or two. Page 8
5. How can I see summary purchases by individual store/location/unit? a. Select the Purchase Summary by Customer report. 6. How can I run reports by individual store/location/unit? a. Select the report you wish to run. Use the Customer Name multi select box to select an individual customer or group of customers. Page 9

Currently you can only run by month for Product Usage. Select by date is schedule for later this year.
